Stewart will have a faster single lap time, but Martin will have a better finishing position.

Does it even matter? JMart riding this race is just an exhibition. He hasnt shown the ability to have a clean SX event over the last 2 years. Mookie has not lit the world on fire in the mains this year.

If this is the best show of the night at Daytona....we are in trouble!

I would bet $1 on Mookie just because he has finished more races.
JMart couldnt win on a 250, a bike that he is very well suited for, why would he be able to hop on a 450 and do any better on a tight stupid track like Daytona?

I would bet another $1 JMart gets a last place start and then makes a mistake.

I know......I wonder if these people even watch the races. I mean really watch.

They know the price of everything, and the value of nothing.

Just found and read this topic. Best read of the day so far.

I would just like to know where all the people are that claimed Mookie's fitness was not an issue, and that his results are solely based on him not having top level equipment. I honestly didn't think Mookie would fade as much, I thought he'd be a little more comfortable in his home state and be able to hang on longer. We all said it was a mistake to not hire Mookie, but maybe the teams knew something we didn't at the time.

Laughing fact.

Not to mention Martin went 1:11.7 vs Mookies 1:14.3 and averaged 2 seconds a lap faster than Mookie the whole race.
