Great ride, champ!
How is consistency not the reason he is leading right now? How is that not the truth? And how is it an insult?

Its the one area he has everyone else covered. Its the reason everyone knew he had this season wrapped up once Roczen was injured. He won't have a bad night for anyone to hain on him.

If Eli could get starts he would give Dungey a good race. Dungey has more in the tank, but he is smart and just riding out the championship. Once KR94 went down it was over. Unless Dungey has a mechanical or gets injured he is 25 points up after Atlanta and is in control. Supercross is really all about the start, good start, good race, bad start, bad race, small mistake you are done.

They said the same thing about Larocco when he was 'faster' than McGrath. If he figures out his starts Jeremy will never win again. One of them won 7 championships, the other didn't.

Exactly this! I have been saying that about Tomac for awhile now, and I like ET. He HAS to be the fastest rider out there because he is always making up for his crap starts.

Well except for the fact that the two races he did get good starts he won by a mile, still faster. Not because he has to be, just because he is.

He always wins? Except for the four years in a row when Villopoto won the 450sx title.

He's definitely the most consistent rider around. He never gets a bad start. He rarely crashes and he is good enough to nearly always be on the podium.

But he doesn't seem to have that next level that Tomac and Roczen did. Fortunately for him he doesn't need to push to that level. He never throws away points and once he has the points lead the only way he could lose it is if his bike has a mechanical failure. But he's incredibly lucky with his machinery. Been a few years since he had an issue with it.

Not sure what you're watching, but I love RD's style and how fluid he is on the bike. It's highly impressive with race winning speed to be able to ride as consistently as he does, year in, and year out.

If he were "entertaining" to you, I'm sure you'd be posting about how he's a crasher, like Canard, Eli, Kenny, James and host of others. Insert *Facepam* here.

Oh and "boringest," isn't a word. FYI

Dungey is nowhere near the MC class. No rider probably ever will be. He came in and dominated from the start and won 7 titles until a young Ricky Carmichael came along and started to hit his prime as MC was at the end of his.

He had the consistency of Dungey with the ability to stomp a field like Tomac and Roczen can. Pretty much from his first race he was in a different league. Unlikely anyone will ever be able to do that again.

Dungey is just getting warmed up. Dungey 2.0 is about to appear for the 2nd half of season.

Dungey has what no other rider has in the class...... the point lead and by 25 to boot. Dungey's average finish is 2.25 Marvin's is 4.25 Tomac's is over twice that.

How many seasons has Roczen and Tomac lost to injuries? Dungey has more wins in one SX season than Roczen and Tomac combined. Dungey is not only consistent, he is consistently faster than Tomac or Roczen! The wins and titles don't lie.

True that. Not required to be faster than Tomac and Roczen all the time, but faster when it matttered and more consistent. Thanks that's there's no chase. 25 points on 2nd place is all earned.

The race starts when the gate drops.

The fastest rider on the track gets to the checkered flag first.

Careful mate people get severely butthurt about other people's differing opinions around here Pinch Laughing

Without the dominant riders like rc or RV these days, consistently cautious riding gets the crown for sure.

Yes but MC is no where near the "mxlegend" that RD is.... there is always that. Remember when you say that to put SX only, otherwise if looks foolish.
