MXGP of Qatar: Race day discussion

Jonas on the podium: He did not expected to win two moto's and just wanted to have 2 consistent moto's today without any big mistakes, he was happy he could stay calm under pressure and that there's a smal amount of weight of his shoulders now that the first round is in the books. Thanked the entire team and all the sponsors
Paturel on the podium: Was happy with his bike and team he recognised that Pauls was better today and he also stated there's still 18 more gp's and that he's sicking them of one by one and does not want to see to far ahead. Thanked the entire team and sponsors
Lieber on the podium; Biggest smile out there, he said he had not raced GP's for 1,5 year so was happy to return and be on the podium, he said he lost a little bit of his fluency late in the first moto and was happy to carry the speed all the moto in the second race and was genuinely happy with 3th . Thanked his friends and family and his trainer and thats about it

Good stuff Gajser leading this one in front of Cairoli & Febvre! Lets see if AC starts pushing Gajser or not.

I can't believe how easily they've dropped Febvre.

Me too, I expected him to be right in this battle.

Potentially a huge statement for Tim if he can hang on here.

Gajser looks really good despite the fever. Really smooth and calculated

Yea healthy he's gonna be hard to deal with this year, Good starts and speed!

He's also really good at passing

Like Sheheen would say, i think Gajser is making a statement here!

Don't hand the title yet to AC222.

I'm a bit out the loop right now, anyone know what's going on with Searle? I presume injury?

Cairoli's balance trough those rutty sections is a joy to watch.

That was a vintage performance. Sit back and then pounce.

Phenomenal performance from Cairoli, absolutely textbook. So glad to see him back at that kind of level. Great rides from Gajser too, he looked great out there. Good to see Desalle back at the front as well

Kind of stupid how they cut off the riders during the interview. I guess the corporate machine had to end it quickly...

Anyway thanks everybody who joined the discussion today!
