Good to hear. Kyle white is ok as well. Nobody's fault on this.....just the brutally tough sport of supercross doing what it does. I'm sure Aeck is not out of the woods but hearing that he has feeling and can move is great news.

That's crazy I'm glad he has feeling because when he was moving around after the crash it looked like he could only move from the waste up

Great news! Not that any injury is great but sounds like he will be back is all we can ask after that crash.
You dont really want to move when you have that bad crash.

BTW that ATLAS add on side bar is worst s.it you can come out with.. Replay of El hombres crash make me not buy that product ever.

Atlas saved my kids life, so I will always buy their product. But what does this even have to do with Colton's horrific situation?

Not sure if that's going to work, on my phone. But anyway it's an update from Colton, says he didn't have feeling from waist down for about an hour but it's coming back now. Will have rods put into back to stabilize it.

Also looking at the crash again it looks like one of those situations where a number of factors contributed. If kyle hadn't gone for the triple, or if Colton had held his line better, wouldn't have happened.

It looked like Colton was prepared to do the triple till the guy on the kawi checked up real hard. Most guys were jumping that triple on the far outside which is where the guy on the kawi checked up hard. Sending Colton towards the middle. Looks like kyle thought if he jumped for enough to the inside he'd be good.

The triple was a disaster waiting to happen. 3 separate incidents during the first 250 qualifier alone, and probably close to a dozen incidents in total. The flat corner prior to launch was a traction nightmare, and riders were hard on the brakes upon landing. Not a very smart design.

Regardless of one's opinion of MXA in general, they were truly a day late and a dollar short to the internet/social media/video era and really seem to be struggling to catch up.

On a good note, glad to hear that the injuries were better than one might imagine-I was worried about spinal stuff the way he only seemed to be moving his upper body.

Really surprised he tripled out of that corner with 2 people in front of him that were clearly going to double. Blaming the obstacle is stupid, had nothing to do with this incident. Hope Colton can bounce back.

Some of the riders commented that the jump was blind, so it might be tough to tell if someone in front of you triples or not

Hey guys. Good news on Colton. He underwent successful surgery yesterday to stabilize his vertebrae. The surgeons are expcting a full recovery, and they are going to stand him on his feet today. I'm attaching a link to his gofundme account, if there is anything you can contribute it would be greatly appreciated. One thing I have learned from all this is there is no shortage of good people in the moto community. Colton is a tough kid and an extremely hard worker and with all of our support he will be 100% again. https://www.gofundme.com/colton-aecks-prayers-and-support

We sitting right there and looking right at it when it happened. You can see the guy tripled the opposite way it looked like the other 2 guys were going.

There were guys almost getting landed on all night, man I had to quit watching that jump.
