3-5 days every week, all track time. I miss with the occasional rain shower every once in a while but I'm in so cal' so not often do I miss. I have a goal in arenacross and I'll take nothing less than reaching it.

I usually try and ride one to twice a weekend but since the great flood that has hit Nor Cal this year riding has been very slim. Most the local tracks are under water since all our facility's are on a river bed ( E-Street, Riverfront, MMX, Mammoth) or in a hole (Hangtown) or they are to high in elevation and covered in snow. Like we honestly haven't had a dry day for the past 2 months.

Al tho it is Northern California where we get a hell of a lot more rain then socal its still pretty crazy to see it like this since it is the great state of California.

At least once a week, sometimes up to four if I'm racing regularly. 50-60 hours a year.

Shut down for 3-5 months a year due to snow. Makes you hungry again for sure.

Rarely. Maybe 4 times a year. When I do it's about 99% trails and I rack up as many miles as I can because I know my trips are few and far between. Haven't been out since July. Work, school and life happens. Football season for my son destroys a good chunk of the riding season. It sucks. And I used to hold a lot of anger towards my lack of riding. But, it is what it is and I can't change it.

Once a month through out the summer. Now that my son is getting older and he's obsessed with fishing I can see my riding time decreasing. Also I'm slowly losing riding buddies, old age is creeping up on my group.

I usually ride 4 or 5 times a week. Not always moto, sometimes just taking a cruise thru the woods for an hour or so.

Once a week. Weather permitting. Yousta been more. Getting older sucks. Fair weather rider and proud of it. Hucking jumps in the wind and rain are pure bullshit...sorry. My two pesos.

My goal is to ride 2 times per week during the season (march - october, not a fan of riding in the winter) but I usually only ride once per week. With 3 kids, a house, a full time job and a wife to entertain it´s though! .. =)
How the hell do you pull that off? Last year we had a 1 year year old and I was able to get out about 3 times a month and it was tough to keep the wife happy. Now we just had our second child and I'm afraid riding days are going to take a big hit this year. It makes it really difficult when all the tracks are 1.5 hours away or more. So it essentially consumes the whole day by the time I get home and wash the bikes.

I would love for everyone in this thread to also include their age, how many (if any) kids they have, and how far they drive to get to a track. That would be interesting.

Same with me

Combined I did 61 hours on my bikes this year, which is about average I'd say

Actually when me and my wife started to "go serious" I said that motocross is a big part of my life and that I would probably ride until I was not able to crawl my way up to the seat anymore, she stills refers to that moment after 11 years together. This summer I was thinking about hanging up the boots when I got my knee injury but she made me realize that I needed to stop riding on my own terms, not because of an injury. I was actually still on crutches on the birth of our smallest child (6 months) .. =) Not my finest moment but we managed to get through that one too..

However, It´s a big benefit for me that the nearest track is about 10 min away and i have at least 2 other tracks in the 30-45min range so I can just load the van up and go ride a couple of motos. Usually my wife and the kids (my oldest one also rides since age 6) tag along but sometimes they come to the track a while after me just to check me out for a bit.

I don't ride dirt anymore, most of my friends sold their bikes and I have jacked up my back too many times falling un-gracefully. Sold my 450x last year. Still putt around on my Grom a couple times a week, and occasionally ride my Road King or the girlfriend's WR250X supermoto.

I rode 200 hours in 6 months when I first got my yz - 4-5 days a week, due to now having a job and other commitments I'm lucky to ride twice a fortnight...
It doesn't take long to lose that bike fitness, after 20 minutes these days I'm half worn... I used to go for 3 hour technical - moderately fast rides and want to keep at it at the end.
I ride my 07z1000 to work 3 days a week approx a tank a week, I couldn't live without it - but a complete juxtaposition to dirt riding I feel.

Once every few weeks. To many kids and to many bills! If I could hit it once a week I'd be happy. For the dudes married with kids riding more than once a week. Please refer me to the hypnotist you used on the wife, or exactly how hard did you bonk her in the head to achieve the desired result?Laughing
