When Tomac first blew by him, he dropped the hammer and briefly regained the position back, but only briefly. He finally made a big mistake to completely lose any hope of finishing higher. He also had something jammed in his rear brake lever and had to almost come to a stop to dislodge it, allowing Anderson to close within a second or two it looked like. Again though, to his credit, he stretched the gap out for a comfortable third in front of Anderson. Impressive night for Webb.
And to his credit he doesn't make excuses whether a heat, semi or main interview. Like Cousin Eddie said "it does just fine by itself." Anyone betting he wins a main by season's end? Or two.

Agreed, looking better every week. No reason he won't have a win by the end of the season.
Good ride for coop, I think it was more nerves than bike / setup earlier. Just getting settled in. On the box this early in the season (rookie) is impressive.imo
I think Coop is figuring out that 450. Impressive rides these past couple weeks , and only getting faster. Man oh man , he could be fun as hell to watch in the out doors this year!
Side note : Did it look like to you guys that maybe he's packed on a little muscle? He just looked physically stronger last night , and last weekend. Possible beast in the making.
Last night was a perfect chance for him to latch on to Tomac and get that speed up. He tried, too bad he made that mistake. I think a couple laps with keeping up with Tomac would boost the kids confidence and he will realize where he belongs...up front.
Coop is making all the right strides to run with the Big Boys.
I'll never forget his first ride on a 450 a couple years ago in the Moto D and he jumped over a couple deep rutted berm lines to attempt a block pass on the World Champ Febvre.
I LoL'd...
If that doesn't show heart and putting everything on the line to try to win for your country I don't know what does.
