Mookie and Milsaps

No, they didn't win, but dude, they were on the move. Mookie was so impressive. 2nd damn race and he's dicing. When's the last time you saw someone dice in SX? It never happens.

And what do you say about Milsaps. Davi was kill'n it. I don't know where he placed, but it doesn't matter. That dude was on fire.

Thought this thread would be about Davi's agressive-veteran move on him

They were flying, Davi could win a main this year and not surprise me.

I think it was a good racing track. There's a difference between CLOSE racing(riders staying a few seconds apart) and GOOD racing(multiple passes happening all over the track). The cookie cutter follow-the-leader type tracks provide CLOSE racing, but it isn't GOOD racing like the more technical tracks provide. Hopefully Feld takes note and does more tracks like that. I don't think there was a heat/semi/lcq or main that I didn't yell at my TV at least once, that's when you know you're doing it right.

Agressive? Seemed they both aimed for the same rut and Davi had more real estate in said rut. Sucks for Mook, that plop over resulted in a lot of positions lost

Hell yeah, a lot of guys have stepped it up!.....Saps and Mook looked great.....Webb is coming on......you can put Bagget on the list too! Seely is always solid. The real Eli has returned......Anderson has a fire under his ass and the Dung is just being the Dung (nothing more needed to say about him). Whether or not Dungey lets it get close for the title, I see some exciting individual races in SX's near future!.....I almost forgot; throw in a certain dark horse (no pun intended) in the middle of the season (who has little pressure on his shoulders and should have an idea of where he stands compared to a sibling of his). Shit's building.....GOOD shit!!!!

They didn't aim for the same rut. Malcolm was firmly IN the rut, but he left the inside wide open and Davi cut in on him. It was a clean move and is exactly what Malcom should have anticipated. I was bummed to see him veer off into the tough block after such a light tap from Davi.

Davi was crushn the whoops and had a couple great lines that should have put him on top of the box... Instead he didn't make the podium... Late in the race Brake was faster than him in the whoops.. what out if Davi gets his act together..

something about the track, the atmosphere, dirt, Kroc not there, WHATEVER it was, racing was good the WHOLE night.

all the heats, semis were back n forth.

Honestly Its what i expected from having so many good guys in there. basically everyone in that top ten were fighting each other cuz they were all the same speed, and the track was good for dicing

Lol yep Never....

Webb and Marvin were no where near each other all main, never swapped position, that whole Dungey, Seely , Reed scirmish was a figment of our imaginations, along with Webb Anderson in their heat.

I'm hoping Davi is just getting started. He came into the season under the weather? Right ?
He's got top 5 in him rest of the way

Track was amazing.

Big whoops separated the men from the boys. The sand provided a couple of options that were both feasible. Long rhythms that required precision and punished you time-wise if you didn't get them clean. Triples that the lites guys weren't jumping easily from the inside on the second lap of practice.

The best riders in the world were making mistakes, and not the type of mistake that resulted in injury, the type that meant checking up and doubling through a section. That's the type of supercross I remember, and the guys with the best skills went to the front. Millsaps, Reed, Brayton, Seely, Hill all put on some of the best rides we've seen from them all year.

Ouch. O.K. guys. I'll own that one. That race was a good one, but it's been a long time for some decent racing. I'm sure most of you haven't lived through the steamroll of MC days. You might have been alive, but if you saw all those races, it was terrible. He just crushed everyone.

Keep in mind, we just had that sad 2nd Anaheim race. Oh, it was painful to watch. It was just a single file mess. Hey, I'm old. I've seen Rick Johnson dicing or even Magoo and Hannah at Saddleback. That's racing. This last race was a good one. Hopefully, some of this can continue to Oaktown.
