Well there are some of us who race a little more seriously than that...however for the average joe bloggs riding skills then yes makes no difference at all, and to be honest they would be faster on a Suzuki than a KTM/husky...however they need to justify them paying a premium for a KTM/Husky I guess? *shrugs*

When I get a kx, which is all I've owned since 1982. I spend 500-1500 the first month or 2 of owning it on a pipe, handlebars, brakes and so forth.

I feel like husky and ktm are going for the, "if you buy our bikes, you don't need to spend any extra"........whether they have accomplished that is up for debate.

It has nothing to do with KTM. The numbers on the KXF are definitely off.

Maybe Kiwi has a point here. I have tested 2017 KTM, Husqvarna, Honda, Kawasaki & Suzuki 450's and although Suzuki is out dated it still turns quite nice and since it doesn't have ton of power it is easy to ride. I actually prefer Suzuki over KTM as I didn't like the forks on KTM and overall the handling felt unpredictable. I think that on rough track I would be faster on Suzuki than KTM. Once again all the bikes are really good, so pick a color and go ride.

not a huge surprise the Husky and KTM are at the top of the class. pretty bad ass to see the Austrian brands at the front of both the 250 and 450 shootouts.
