Awesome, can't wait to see what you guys come out with. Screw consoles, PC is so much better.

Will it be as hard as MX Sim?

As long as the game is not on rails like MXGP and you get to actually control your bike and rider in a semi-fluid fashion, i'm in. It doesn't matter how good the game looks or how deep the career mode is, pre-made whips are an absolute deal breaker to A LOT of people. This is key.

Either way, i'm interested to see how this one turns out. Good luck to ya.

Hoping Mike (MX45) can answer this one. Is it me or are the 2016 replica Kawasaki track maps you did for the broadcasts using the Encore engine more realistically scaled than the non-replica tracks in the actual Encore game?

I'd say it probably seems more realistic looking simply because they are based off real blueprints vs the custom tracks. But I'm curious on hearing his take on that too. Good question.

It really does look more accurately scaled and also I would think it's Mike doing the riding. It also seems like the rider is riding more realistic style wise which would make sense.

If you're making a track map and, for example, Fro is describing lines the riders will take you don't want some of the outlandish, exaggerated jumps you see in nearly every other Encore video.

Replica tracks really make a difference. I think it is imperative that Rainbow includes replicas next time and somehow gets permission and works out a deal with Feld. There really is no excuse not to this day and age.

As you say, it may just be because the tracks are based off actual real track maps. It does look way better. If that Is the only difference then that tells you something about the teams custom tracks because they sometimes don't even look like the real sport.

Time for replicas because when they aren't replicas too many liberties are taken which is really hurting the game. I'm sure the team and Feld can work it out if they really want to. It should be a win win for both.

I noticed that as well! I was impressed that the rider was attacking the track the way the actual riders would during the night show. If they could just scale it to fit that style, I would play every day. I've been playing MVA Supercross sine this thread popped up. Kinda fun, Supercross translates to video game way better than MX, so I think they're right to focus on that.

Gave MXGP2 another shot. I started originally doing the career and it starts you on a 250f. Anyways, I hated it. I did a pickup race using the 450 class and its a different game, was actually fun. I'll keep playing it.

Question though, there is no 2 strokes to be found, why?

Nobody raced a 2 stroke in the MX1 and MX2 Class. The game was based off of the 2015 MXGP series so that's all the license covered.

That's really disappointing. It lists 2 strokes as able to race in the class, essentially taunting me.

I really hope Mike (MX45) reads this and responds. There is a drastic difference in how the game looks in the track map videos and then in the videos from the actual game. It looks WAY, WAY better in the track map replica videos. I hope the team realizes this. I mean, I get the make it fun and make it accessible and so on but for real, it looks like SO much better in the track map videos with the replicas and the team needs to realize this. The replica tracks make such a difference.

The problem i have with MXGP2 is the game looks like it runs on slo-mo and the air physics still need work. I just cant get past these two issues to try and play it again. The only 2 mx games that i have enjoyed are MCM and reflex and i still play reflex every once i a while.
plus the sound.

The guys at Rainbow must have heard us. Just saw this on their Facebook:

"MX vs. ATV
5 hrs ·
You asked for real track layouts, you got it! With the 2017 Official Track Edition of MX vs. ATV Supercross Encore a new track from the 2017 Supercross season will become available to download each Tuesday before the actual race on Saturday. Available as DLC on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC for MX vs. ATV Supercross Encore or as a collector's special edition. Pick it up on January 4th! http://n.thq.com/ywsc307a5Bg
#mxvsatv"

Now if we could get the real National tracks and bike skins, I'd be completely happy.

I guarantee they read this, but I can also guarantee this was in the works long before. I know it's something that has been on the wish list for 5+ years. Major props to the guys over there making it happen.

count me in. lets show some support fellas. I think it will play so much better if scale is correct.
for our Christmas present, add the option of a full series(correct pointsWhistling heats lcq etc.) with the new tracks where you pick the riders you want in the series. I don't want to race against loveseats. maybe these tracks will get online racing fired up again.

Been a slow day at work... and hearing about this game years ago came to mind. Surprised they're still working on it. I kind of assumed it was like other guys who tried making games and just scrapped it and moved on.

Go play any of the new f1 video games and you’ll soon realize they have the perfect career mode model. They just need to copy and paste that into MXGP PRO and we’re good to go.
