Haven't listened to Main Event yet but the episode of Pulp MX where Blair and Hobo Nick were on and told the Steinke Dog story about the brownies was all time classic!! I was dying laughing the whole time

I dont get how any fan of moto can not like any type of podcast talking about anything moto. Moto, SX, Endurocross, GNCC, WORCS, Lets hear it all.

It's like whiskey. Ok, so you prefer to sip a single malt scotch. Not handy, most wont bitch about a glass of Johnny Walker, Jack or Beam.

It's better than no podcasts. And they are FREE. SMH

I'm a big Pulp fan, and I think Main Event Moto is a good show too. It's just different, and after a few shows you get to know the guys, and it's funny as hell. DB speaks well, and is intelligent, producer Joe is freaking hilarious, and Hobo Nick is interesting too. The stories about their touring Europe, or DB's son and his racing for a Lego are very entertaining. It's really well put together. I'd say that even if you don't like it at first, give it another go. Maybe even go to the archive and listen to the one about the Europe tour.

Have to agree with Vincent, Plessinger was painful to listen to, was going to fast forward thru it. He seems cool in his TV interviews so don't know what the deal was but that was terrible.

Until I came to this thread I had never heard of you or your show. After reading your bad attitude filled post I am quite sure I will never watch your show. You need to grow a thicker skin and learn how to handle critique. If you can't, do yourself and your show a favor stay off of public forums and hire someone to cover your show's public relations. If you don't like my post feel free to go kick rocks yourself.
Good luck 'watching' an audio podcast homie.

I really like MainEvent, find it funny at times and also entertaining. Also listened abit to Kenny Watson's podcast, 'Inside the Rut', that too was very good in different ways.
Have to listen to Pulp more, only heard a few of those, not that one should really have to compare them for what one is the 'best'- sure they all have some good stories/ content in them, whatever the pod.

When someone in your target demographic says you he doesn't care for you product, telling him to fuck off isn't the best way build your customer base.

In order to build a customer base you must first have customers. MainEventMoto doesn't have customers - they have listeners. The people who enjoy the podcast also enjoy the fact that DB comes on here and tells people that are critical of the FREE CONTENT to "fuck off." Do you think that MEV really gives a crap that you and 4 other crotchety dudes don't appreciate him or the FREE CONTENT that he provides?

Listening to the podcast from a few days ago, Tony Allessi, Monster, etc.... DB mentions that Tickle has a 2nd career that is very lucrative. I am wondering what that is? Anyone know? He makes a good salary racing so I am just curious what else he got into.

Thanks, BDG
