You could easily get away with dumping gas/ Premix in your bottom end and turning it upside down and repeating this a bunch of times to get all the sand (which there is very little from the looks of it) out of your bottom end. Jesus.... Ive sucked sand through a filter that tore before and been fine for 50 hours on that top/bottom end. rebuilt it, split cases to be safe and there was no problems. Doom and gloomers.... funny stuff.
