Looked up p/n's and it was $790 for starter and $100+ for harness...?
Is there a "complete kit" coming for a better price?

Damn that seems like quite a bit of coin for the estart. Just about puts the bike up there in KTM territory

Already close to KTM cost, without estart. Shops up here in the Sac area, 10,200-10,500 OTD

And there flying OTD, faster than Roczen in a local novice race Angry

I am looking forward to riding my uncle's when he comes to town in a few weeks. I want to see how it compares to my 14 YZ.

Am I the only one that thinks the front number plate looks like a cross between the Suzuki and the 03-05 yamahas?

Already have grip tape templates wrapped up for the frame number plate and airbox incase anyone on here is wanting some

Looks like a good exhaust should get it close to the ktm.

I tested the bike this week and it isn't lacking on power. I have tested both 2017 KTM & Husqvarna 450's and the Honda felt more powerful as the rear wheel traction was so unbelievable. Coming of jumps you would grab a handful on the landing and the bike would wheelie and you have to back off a little...then you try to go full throttle again and it would wheelie again. Same with corners, you are not sliding it around but more on like rails and if you try to go full throttle in the middle of corner you will start to wheelie, not drift. I also used LitPro to gather data from the starts and it is noticeable faster than any other bike we have tested. But then again I'm old and slow so maybe it is different for faster riders.

Im not that worried about the power, what the heck its a 450! Im more worried about the 49mm forks. I actually forked out for some used Showa A forks for my KX450 and hated them based on they felt too stiff (not dampening wise!) I might be nuts but I don't think Im the only one that thinks this. How about some fork reviews? Actually as many complete reviews as possible on the new bike would be great....Im ready to drop a deposit on a new 2017.5 FE KTM or the new CRF and can't make up my mind.

No sh*t- This is my only hag up as well- The Air Forks on the KTM's are some of the best forks I've ridden on..

I sat on one yesterday. 5 dealers in my area have them. Just waiting on validation that its not a turd. I was the first to have a 13... wish i would have waited on reviews instead of intro hype.

Won't be turd I don't think. Sounds like a great bike on paper but I think the ktm will have it covered

If I buy the bike from my local dealer, which I'm planning to do, they sell me all "Honda" parts at their cost.

The prices out the door in Cali listed here are freaking outrageous. The preliminary msrp on Honda's site is $8600-$8700 (don't quote me exactly on that). If that holds anywhere close, my dealer already quoted me an otd price of $8200. $150 above his cost and no destination/set-up fee. They have difficulty moving dirt bikes but have to buy a certain # to offer everything else that does sell.

Dropped in yesterday and he said they already received their first one and even though it wasn't preordered, it sold before it was uncrated. Taking the sales manager on his word (he's always been truthful with me in the past), one of Cooper's buddies bought this one.

By far the best price I've seen so far. Should be picking mine up in a few weeks.
