Not to get too involved too much in the Harambe madness, but wouldn't the stance be pretty easy in your example? Wouldn't that just make adults with the ability to stop him higher on the food chain? This is such a stupid argument. Can't believe I'm even giving it the time of day.

Yes of course I completely agree. If that was my child Id go in there bare hands and do my best to get my child back, if I lost, so be it I tried. My point is just saying nature exists so let it be is a bit of a stretch. Either let it be or be sensible in our approach to it not change our thinking when the situation changes.

Wtf does Harambe have to do with me telling that emotional bro why he's wrong to bash JJ's for this? All I did was explain why big game hunting exists and that 63mark is a douche for calling him a "pathetic dumbass" on the internet because he's contributing to something that is totally legal and helps the foundation of wildlife in Africa. This is the f'n moto related forum anyway what are any of us doing giving this thread the time of day?!
It's off season? No worries man I love hunting, well as can be in the UK. I love the hunt, the outwitting, and then the kill but I do that for me an my family. Don't get the trophy thing but that's just a cultural thing. Each to his own Smile

Lets say your dog is on his last leg and suffering so you decide its time to put him down. When your neighbor hears about it he runs over and offers you $500 to shoot your dog for you. You take the money and donate it to the local dog rescue. He shoots your dog, then proceeds to pose with your dead dog and give a big thumbs up and a smile and struts around like he is the king of the world cause he shot your dog. The issue is not that he killed the dog, killing the dog was the compassionate thing to do. The issue is not that it was a dog that was killed, it could have been any animal. The $500 dollars went to help rescue a bunch of other dogs and give them a good life, again, a good thing. The issue is that the neighbor is a douchebag because he gets off on killing your dog for no other reason than he is killing something. He is not trying to save other dogs or put your poor dog out of it's misery, he just wants to kill your dog.
good post. first logical argument in this whole thread.

Hi, I'm Manny.
I own more guns than most of y'all.
I'm politically more "actually conservative" than most of y'all.

Yet, "for the life of me", I can't figure out how some of you JUST CAN'T do the math.

Mr. Sandwhich-Douche is blasting animals that have diminishing numbers that're pretty dismal.
Hence, he's a douche.

Some of y'all crack me up in here and rant that animals are getting too much attention or importance.

You're ignorant.
Sorry, but, there it is.
You're not smart enough to see the actual problem that's right in front of your face. Yet, it's been like this throughout history: witness the scared little bitches that killed off the Wolf or the fools that decimated the Bison.

Complete Ignorance and lack of Wisdom.
You and Kim and Kanye deserve one-another.
Fools.

It's his dough, and if he wants to legally hunt animals, I guess that's his deal.

I visited the Richard Childress museum and race shop over the summer, and was surprised at the size and quantity of animal on display in their facility. But on the other hand, they've been tight there with Realtree for a long time, and they were working on an NRA-sponsored car in the shop.

You guys also have to separate " Hunters " from " Trophy hunters "....there is a big difference. Almost all my buddies hunt and fish and they do it for the love of it and to put meat in their freezer. Hell , even make a few bucks to make it pay for itself by selling some of the meat.

Trophy hunters on the other hand.......you are totally 100% correct , they fucking suck at being a human being. Don't kill something unless you are able to use every last bit of the animal you just killed. If you killed it just because you wanted to put the head , or set of tusks , ect on your wall.....You completely suck.
Is it legal to sell meat harvested from wild game? I thought that was a big no-no and Game Wardens get all excited about that.

Let me clear up the Harambe topic, which has no place in the original discussion but there is obviously a lot of confusion on the subject. All zoos in North America have an emergency plan in place that puts human life ahead of an animal's life no matter what. Zoos drill for these possibilities, and have shooting teams made up of keeper staff along with managers and maybe even the vet.
Even though not all of the footage was made public, there was enough to see that the child was in serious danger of having his neck snapped unintentionally. The call was made, and it had to be a kill shot. Tranquilizer guns are not accurate from that range, and a dart loaded enough to slow down a silverback would be more than enough to kill a child. The very people who took care of Harambe on a daily basis were the ones who had to shoot him, I can't even imagine what was going through their minds at the time. It was an awful experience for everyone that works there, and they got so much hate from fucking ignorant assholes that they decided to just delete the Twitter account and try to move on. And sadly there are lame Harambe references still going on today, at the expense of the people that actually cared for him.

Subjective viewpoint, although I do agree with you on poachers, but beyond the point it's not really shooting fish in a bucket, sometimes hunters get attacked...

And if you want to talk about shooting fish in a bucket talk to your burger patty that was harvested from a slaughterhouse where cows were lined up and hit with a bolt gun. (FYI it is painless)

World of difference between food and sport killing.

I wouldn't want his money.
I read it wasn't entirely for sport, as he claimed he and/or his friends would consume the meat

Now Manny, you and your motorsickle riding, desert racing, air polluting, tortoise running over haters of the environment and....need I go on. You have to realize that there are people out there that hate you as well. Now let us cry over the milkvetch plant you killed.

People have placed animals on a pedestal to the point that it is ridiculous and stupid. I hope this guy shoots 10,000 more stupid wild animals for every crybaby that thinks he's killing Disney characters. I'd personally be ok if no one that cries and boycotts over wild animals ever watched mx. Let's keep the boycott crazy idiots out of here. People hunt. Get over it. We have to "get used" to trannies in the men's room, then the other side gets to suck this one up.
