Do you turn into an asshole when you don't ride ?

Some would say I'm always an asshole.

I haven't ridden for awhile. Your theory may have merit.

Riding or not, I'm always an asshole according to those closest to me as well as my employer. lol. Called it on a daily basis.

My wife says I'm an asshole when I don't ride, but I'm also one when I'm racing. The magic formula seems to be lots of riding and I'm fine with that nowadays.

Dang, on Friday it will be 2 months off the bike and I still have 2 more togo from getting my shoulder fixed. Lucky i've been slammed with work and slowly rebuilding my bike to keep me busy.

I have noticed I'm way more stressed out, for sure. The only real physical activity I've had is riding on a stationary bike for an hour a day.

Broke my arm on Sat. Local track had quad day on Sat so I rode my mtb. Hit a tree. Now out for 6-8. F*ck quads... yes, I'm an asshole and it's only day 5.

I am currently on week three with a broken back. I broke it in six places along with four ribs. Being off work, I find myself in the shop just to be around my motorcycle (2016 KTM 350 SXF). Normally when hurt, I focus on my son's riding. He has started football, so he is too tired ride (I call bs). Even in my condition, I went to the track Sunday to hang out with friends and watch.

My wife will definitely agree that I become hard to live with when I don't ride. I have no way to release the pent up stress from work and life. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Agreed. Riding is therapy. As men, we get a lot of built up tension throughout the day and all that's gotta get released somewhere!! Fighting? Too old to sit in jail or get sued. F$#king? Too married.... Gym? Too boring. I'm lucky if I get to ride a few times a month and it drives me insane.

If you get Snappy with your wife and kids because you haven't been riding in a while, you have issues.

My wife says I am an asshole all the time and frankly it pisses me off because I am certainly not. However, it makes me feel better even if I can take the cr125 out for 10 min and run the piss out of it. Some days that all that needed.

I get very anxious if I haven't been riding my bike for weeks. Guess I'm addicted too...

Same thing here. If I'm off my bike for too long I tend to drive my car WAY above speed limits, fuel consumption goes through the roof, and I'm generally unhappy with my life.

HAHAHAH no you arent the only one... i sold my bike one time a long time ago and my wife (girlfirend at the time) said uugghh your such an asshole when you dont ride why dont you go get a bike so you can ride... needless to say i went an bought a bike and ring!
