I've raced with broken ribs, damaged shoulder, stitches in my hands, concussions, no sleep, on bikes that sometimes are way over due for freshening, and don't forget a upset wife,,,then some whiners complain my local track is no good too sandy,, and it is dropped from schedule for a track far away in another state they'll never race anyhow... cause they have a baby shower to attend or they're grass needed cut...
I also hate guys that always complain more laps, more laps when it's 95* and 100% humidity. Most of the ones doing the complaining for more laps- stick there chest out in riders meeting like they're 20 and 'real men' when we are 50+... then they get lapped 1st moto....and concede to less laps 2nd moto so we can leave before dark thirty..
If you ride you are cool with me, no matter the brand or the type of bike. I get it you love two strokes and 4 strokes are evil in your eyes, but get off the soap box. It's getting really old especially on here. Nearly every thread I read on a new bike ends up getting high jacked by someone bashing the oem's for not producing two strokes. It has gotten to the point that I rarely read this forum anymore because that seems to be all anyone talks about. The moto world is ripe with innovation, whether it be fuel injection, yamaha's backward engine, triple air chamber forks, programmable ignitions, or now honda's down draft intake no matter the advance someone inevitably bitches that they want antiquated technology which had essentially reached its limit save for direct injection. Instead of bitching just be happy that we continue to get better bikes. the oem's could just as easily say screw it: the cost exceeds value, Much like what is happening in Europe with the disappearance of 600cc sport bikes.. End of rant
Last time I checked you could race one all the way up to the Pro MX2 Nationals.

Type A (me) I practice/ride every weekend weather permitting and don't "race others" on practice days. If I come up on a little kid I slow down, never know where they are going and if I happen to get in a hairy situation I back it down. I ride to be able to ride another day but I do make sure to put in 4 to 6 good motos even if it entails slowing down for a turn or jump every lap or two. I hardly if ever "race" any more for many of the reasons listed in the above posts.
Type B - Guys that treat practice day as if they are leading the Monster Cup no matter who else is on the track or who they run up on or end up on side of.
Things that annoy me:
Type B guys that keep tabs on "who" they passed on practice day...and totally ignore the circumstance
and the delusional guys that "use to be Pro or ride A or race with XXXX" or the guys that "used to be sponsored or get bikes from the dealership" and they barely can get through the pits to the track

Stupidity. That's annoying.
Two would be that the track starts off perfectly groomed and watered. But then they don't water again untill the track is hard packed and so dusty you can't see anything. It's a completely wasted effort by then. Water doesn't soak in to concrete.

Its just at the track everywhere I go I'm hearing this no talent..computer generated..fake ass sounding hip hop.. it seriously de-motivates me..
Everybody used to play all the good metal music...Walk over hear...someone's got Skid Row cranked up...This dude overt there was jamming on Ozzy...Walk down by the start gate and there were fine chicks rocking Motley Crue.. Man I was super motivated to race hard...guess I'm jus getting old..
Many of the above also just didn't want to be redundant.
I don't get the same read that you do from Moto810 and I for sure don't know what he thinks. You don't either.
