Is there a cure for moto depression? Last October I had surgery to fix the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome on my right hand. In Phoenix, a week ago I got to ride for the first time at the ride day on Friday. Thanks to Dr. Mark R, (who didn't recognize me), I got to put in a ton of laps on his bikes. I actually rode until I couldn't hold on anymore.

The next day my wife and I went to the Supercross and got the VIP treatment from David Izer and the DMXS boys. It was a perfect weekend. Sitting in the airport on Sunday, I was actually bummed to be going back home, I had that much fun.

Now, it is a week later and I am here at work still bummed. It is -2 degrees here and all I can think about is riding. I am going nuts. I need to go back to Phoenix!

I'm telling you man this Global warming thing ain't working out like they promised.

PS I try to ride my montain bike in the woods that normally helps with the depression.

It is even too cold to riding at one of the indoor track, which I am not a real fan of anyways.

Sure. The cure is to go ride my CR500AF with my son on his YZ250 and Racer92 on his RM250 at Cross Creek on a 60 degree Texas day. "Go south, young man..."

We get depressed in the summer when you sweat through your shirt just loading your bike and you debate whether it's better to ride in the morning when it's 85 and 100% humidity or in the afternoon when it's 100 degrees and 70% humidity.

Riding those indoor tracks is like snake handeling. You going to get bit. And it ain't going to be worth it

I was thinking I could get the bike out of the trailer and tinker with it in the garage. The only problem is that the trailer is buried in about 2 feet of snow.

I'm headed that way this week Alph(near Pittsburg), from the looks of the forcast I'll probably bring a quad instead of a bike.

I think Shittsburg has less snow than we do, still better bring a 4x4 quad.

Talked to my buddy yesterday, actually in Bethany, WV in the northern panhandle. He said 8" so far, and looks like a couple more days of snow showers this week.

Probably will bring the Suzuki Vinson with Mud Lites, that should make it to the bars.

I hate to say it Alphado but the way I see it through my equally frozen windows here in CT there are only two possible cures;

1.) Spring

2.) Another plane ticket to someplace warm.

A single cold snap doesn't disprove climate change any more than a single hurricane proves it. But don't let facts interrupt your theory.

Out west we've been averageing 10deg's above average.
Last year I had 6' of snow and this year 6".

Does that mean, we're warming faster?

I couldn't go a week without riding, let alone a whole "season"--or more.

You poor bastards.

We've been doing indoor short track on pitbikes in a guys shop. Even Pegram and Burkhart have been showing up to dust off those winter time blues. I hear xanax, beer, and lexapro can help too. j/k
