Larry, Chris Ridgway here! You taught me how to get mentally strong and ride through the pain and I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my stump! Hahaha

Seriously, I'm happy for all your success; you deserve it. Very few people have the heart and determination you do. Some of today's racers must make your stomach ache.

Welcome back.

But I still have a bad taste in my mouth with what went down with Ramsey and Reed deal. Too bad you didn't give your side of the story when you needed too. It was left hanging and I think it looks bad on your part.

Again, welcome back happy posting.

There's no side to give on the Reed deal. LB offered a handsome contract to Reed with an acceptance clause in it. Reed didn't sign the deal within this time period and the deal was taken off the table. LB did what any smart business person would have done and went after the next available rider.

On the Ramsey deal, LB doesn't ask me why I raise my daughters the way I do so I won't ask him about the Ramsey deal. It's his business not mine.

Thanks for directing me to the dungeon bob.
I feel alot better about the situation after reading his comments.
That took the balls of 10 bulls to write that. I'm done bashing LB but will always be a Nate Ramsey fan.

What's up Chris? It was cool to see you at X Games. Blew me away that you had lost your foot. That sucks!! You still kicked Butt at X Games....Good Job.

Thanks for the kind words, bro. We did have some deep talks and yes, I do have different views than a lot of riders, on how tough you need to be to race a motorcycle. But this is a different age and time these days Chris.

Hope to see you again soon.

Im sure Ill get called an ass kisser for this but Larry can you explain how you decided to start your own race team and how hard it must have been to become as successfull as your team was in only a few short years? You have now had two of the best riders in the world ride for you and to me it seams you are running more of a power house than most factory teams today. Today with the money issues it just seams that it would be a huge financial risk to try and run a team let alone have someone like James Stewart on your bike. Thanks and im sure booby m will be by to run me in the dirt!

Wow, that's a long, long story and not one for the the Message Boards. I don't mean any disrespect, but I don't want to take that much time to write the story.

Let me tell you something, I'm a lucky guy that had a dream and it came true. There was a lot of work that went in to building this team. No one just gave it to me, but one thing that's for sure, I could have never had this team if it wasn't for my partner Mike Kranyak. If your a motorcycle racing fan and you like L&M Racing or James Stewart, you need to thank Mike for making L&M happen so we could win the 2008 Supercross Championship. It was a lot of my hard work, but it happened because of Mike period. If you ever see him at the track, you should shake his hand.

I'm glad your here Larry. It's cool having some actuall insiders here to listen to. You'll get your occasional jerk every once in a while. But most of them are usually snot nosed little punks that have nothing better to do , or some washed up, grumpy old dude that was a legend in his own mind. You just have to weed the bad dudes out. I just started posting again a couple weeks ago. I joined up here ( again ) 1-1/2 years ago , but only lurked around , because there just gets to be to much flaming going on. I'm glad i started posting again , and getting involved in the MX discussions. It's tough to stay away from the bad crowd.....but sometimes you just gotta look the other way and don't even bother giving them a reply.

Glad to have you here man!

Larry, what up, It's Billy Frank. Congrats on the team, you guys will do great this year and I'm happy to see you and Mike have put together such a good team. I'll stop by at A2 to say hi, and good luck this weekend!

B?

P.S. Was that really you wadding on the Paristyle in the prior video? I think I remember that it was, you got lucky on that one man, could of been a lot worse, like the time Fowler took you out at the Vet race at GH lol. I still give him chit to this day about that!

Holy friggin' crap......Michael Craig now to!

hey Mike , my buddy larry bought one of your Honda of troy bikes from you , at the washougal national quite a few years ago....( i think it was 98'...not positive) I think he actually bought it strait from your mechanic. His wife "Bridgett was a bigwig at Nike , and used to supply the honda of troy team with shoes. I grew up with both of them , and raced and rode with them for along time. Larry's best friend ( some chick....can't remember her name either) ended up marring Kyle lewis.

Welcome aboard Mike.......man this thread is turning out great!
