Yes but there are also 5x more channels than those days so, it is like comparing apples to oranges. To me, that on bike looking straight at the rider view was the worst thing in the history of moto television. It was irritating to watch especially since there was great racing today. Everyone in the room was like WTF?

We have Dish. In our area they do not carry the local NBC affiliate due to a disagreement over price. I appreciate the link to the nbc sports stream for next week or next time it is on the regular nbc channel.

The coverage is pretty bad. Weege is off point so bad that Langston can't even carry him. Also. they need to ditch the on board camera. That might be the worst idea in the history of sports television.

I'd be surprised if we saw at least 15 minutes of each race. Ads were definitely over half of the broadcast.

I was afforded the opportunity to watch some kids cartoons here in the Houston area in place of MX. The 250 moto 2 is being aired at 11:30 PM tonight but no 450's anywhere I could find. Local programming must have trumped the race this time. Not sure who to blame, NBC or Suddenlink.

I never understand the gripe about the coverage. I have absolutely been pleased with watching live streams and haven't missed a race or catch a race on a later date since cutting the cord.

I thought the coverage was great. Sure there was some commercials buts thats to be expected. Especially on the live stream of the first motos.

Heck between the TV coverage, trying to watch lap times, and checking in here for the bench racing during the race I barely even notice the commercial breaks.

Also to those who rip on Weege or Langston you are either joking or a tree hugging hippy. They are announcing booth gold!

I agree with the irritation over the FRAM cam thing pointed straight at the rider. It's just the same damn viewpoint (and a ghastly one at that) regardless of who is carrying it - there isn't a jot of difference between all the footage taken.

If it makes anyone feel any better, you could have been present at the race and probably not have seen any more racing. The topography of the area (it's pretty much in a bowl) and the trees makes spectating difficult. It's about 10 people deep at the fence around the whole track too.

Now the 2nd 250 moto is scheduled for NBCSN 1230am, and stupid fucking nascar is on! The nascar race has been over for 20 mins and they are just talking and showing highlights!!! No message or anything like mx is even scheduled from NBCsn, wtf??

Had nothing to do with looking at the rider. It was a shot of the Go Pro and Redbull emblems on the jersey.

Yup, so do they show 15 min less of the race, or go 15mins long in the coverage? Who knows??? I guess I am lucky I could not sleep. only had the DVR set to record 1 hour.
