It's a very old school track that is a very fun experience both on and off the track. The town turns pure moto. My avatar is me crossing the start straight from the last time I raced it in I think '08 or '09. I unfortunately haven't been back since though and saw they took out the big left hand sweeper in the back, but for the most part it's still the same Mammoth. The video brings back good memories.

I have seen so many of our sport's biggest names race it in their Am days including MC (after he retired), Bubba, Alessi, RV (in an epic battle on 85's with Alessi and RV was on a Yamaha), Dungey's first pro race, and many many more.

Friday during open practice was my first time ever at Mammoth...... this is a very difficult and challenging track!! Friday for me was just coming to terms with it. It gets rough beyond belief.

My goal was to leave in one piece with a smile on my face. I achieved thisWoohoo

To watch all of the skilled vet riders was pretty amazing.

Man that video looked like those dudes were going insanely fast on that track. Certain spots looked like the Star Wars lightspeed scenes. Awesome to watch a guy like Sean ride the wheels off that 500.

Not sure who's the bigger beast... Sean or the 500?? Dude, was shredding the shit outta that thing!

Beast+beast=superbeast???

Great video!

Get that man a beer. That 500 is sex on two wheels.

X2! They should nickname him the dragon slayer. Can't believe how aggressively he rides that thing!

Off topic, but I always think that track looks like Honda Hills.

I rode about two hours before watching this video. Immediately realized I had it all wrong, should drive straight back to the track, and try it all again. Awesome guy, incredible bike.
