Your opinion: $40 for audiocast?

Back in WWII people sat around and listen to "Fibber McGee & Molly" on the radio. They didn't pay $40 for it though. My how we have progressed!

one thing I would like to know is how many bought it? not that they would "officially" tell us but be cool to see that figure. then see how many signed in last year for a comparison.

this would be a good indicator of how or sport is doing. Since the powers to be likley look at this thread, is that possible to see a last year to this year percentage or figure?

Well worth the money to listen to 8 races start to finish with no interruptions. We're probably gonna see only about 40 minutes of racing on Speed today. My son listened to the 450 main with me and that alone was worth the $2.66.

Worth every penny and than some. Weege and Holly bring something to the event that Speed, Emig, and the other guy - I can't even mention his name he sucks so bad - don't.

And, as far as paying for the webcast, we are damn lucky we have the opportunity to pay and bring it back. Every sport is cutting back, from Arena Football canceling their season to race teams and sponsors pulling completely out of various forms of racing: even wresting, football, baseball...have cut or have hiring freezes in place.

Yes, at one time it was free, but at one time we had a strong economy, a little company called Lehman Bros, and 1 in 10 homes weren't in foreclosure...times change.

So, thanks to all those involved that found a way to make the webcast available to all of us that love moto and want to follow it in real time.

I tried it last night but probably won't do it again. It spoils it for TV, and I don't remember SO many commercials even when it was free.
$ 6 bucks? They're getting greedy IMO

Is it live only or available as a down load after the race?

It it included video also, no one would even ask this question. Everyone would gladly pay $40 for a video webcast.

I don't think it's worth it. I didn't spend the money, I didn't listen, and I didn't miss it one bit.
