Post a photo if you can. It depends on how it's broken.

You may be able to pull off the handlebars and use a reverse twist drill to back it out.

Try calling Factory Connection or Race Tech, may get a better answer than on here...

Instead of trying to back the bleeder screw out of the fork......try backing the fork off of the bleeder screw.....

I would tend to believe you could remove the cap - turn it upside down - grind down a blade screw driver so the blade fits tight into the brass fitting and the shaft so it will pass thru the hole in the cap and turn it out with no effort what so ever. Hardest part is grinding down the screw driver or perhaps thinking about itCool

If you have the fork cap removed with the broken bleeder in it, I would just take a small drill and drill it out from the bottom. More than likely the drill will spin the broken bleeder right out vs actually drilling through it. I've used this approach for many broken bolt removals where you have access to the backside of the bolt (IE not a blind bore). Much less hassle.

Please post a picture or 2. We'll figure this out.
I wouldn't start with a drill. There's a technique I learned when I was a machinist that works very well.
I'd like to see the pictures before making any suggestions.

A small ez-out should work. Or just go buy a new cap and bleeder.

What about a center punch and a hammer ? Works good if you can a "bite" on the screw

Personally I would remove that fork cap to work on it. You're pretty much guaranteed to get metal chips inside the fork otherwise.

It's too small for a screw extractor. Try a reverse drill bit that is smaller than the minor thread diameter.

Those bleeders don't have to be very tight. Go easy on the torque next time.

I had this happen and I used this method. I used a phillips head screw driver that bit the remaining part of the bleeder and just screwed it out.

It works really well on flat head screws that get locked in and the hex is rounded out.

Use a dremel tool with a cutting disk to make a notch and then use a flat head screwdriver to get it out. This has worked for me many times.
