that's what I am thinking too but with all the experienced talent it's hard to believe. it would be such an impression mark if he does. not even the overall but a moto win.

Not 250.. But how bout JG33 for the overall at glen Helen??? He did it a couple years ago
No way. He won't beat Dungey, Tomac or Roczen. I can definitely see him taking 4th or 5th though. Or if one of the fast 3 make a mistake he could land on the podium.

i'm asuming a little worse as the lites bikes require almost full factory support to really hang out with the boys upfront

if he's going privateer i think 10-15 with a few top 10's along the way

According Transworld Motocross he will be racing the Nationals in the 250 class for the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Honda team.

He has been testing for factory and getting support from them, so I would assume that he'll have better than privateer level bike, but it remains to be seen if and how much there would be bike difference with Geico bikes.

Last year he was riding at first with Crossland getting factory support and he didn't seem to lose much compared to factory bikes. Getting similar results with both bikes.

Of course 250 is a different play field, but he is also more experienced and successful than most of the young guns there, so even if there would be some lack on the bike side, I'm interested in seeing how his talent is showing among the factory riders there.

I think AC is going to have a season that is a lot like ET's first five motos.

Said no Canada in an interview a week or so ago. Supposedly he's considering arm pump surgery and/or running a few select outdoors for Geico (I would assume The Wick and other east coast events) and prepping to run a Geico bike again in SX in 17. Not sure if it was a contractual thing but there was a comment made about the brand change for the summer just not making sense if his plans are to come back on a Honda in SX.

No real sleepers in 250 this summer. There are 7-10 guys that can podium on any given week.

Anyone other then Martin I guess would surprise me. Anytime a two time defending champion loses is a little surprising imo

J-Mart has to be like an 85% favourite right?

Has anyone else put together a full season, let alone beat him once or twice?

For the Hangtown win i will take Jessy Nelson
Imo forkner for 5th oa
Id like to see AC win
He seems so big now /tall
I wonder if that will affect his chances on a 250

I see forkner as the new Ryan Villopoto
I think he will have a good summer
And be up there with martin battling for wins
But i dont think he will win Hangtown

I think Cooper would have been the one to beat
I would have even put him ahead of
J mart
But with this wrist now
I think he will miss races

Between KTM, Yama, Kawi and Honda, who ends up with more overall wins is the real question here.

I'm all onboard the hype train for Forkner. Think he'll do real good this summer.

J-Mart obviously being the favorite, i do think his teammate Plessinger will be right up there with him!

I wouldn't expect Forkner to challenge for wins until the very end of the season. There aren't enough 35 min practice motos in the world that will get him ready for a legit 35 min race on a rough national track.

Unless he's head and shoulders above the rest of the competition (Stewart 2002) I don't see him winning races right away in 2016.

jmart, plessinger and ac are not really sleeper picks aren't they. i go with nichols and forkner.

Tonus will be interesting since he came in more as an outdoor rider than sx.

Martin I think will win at a rate as dominant this year as anyone outside of Stewart in this class. I see RC win rates out of him this year. Which IMO at most leaves 4 other wins up for grabs and I think Plessinger and Joey could win one for sure and maybe Forkner and AC.

With no Cooper Webb out, Martin wins... The field is stacked for second overall in the championship...
