These wins must be very rewarding. It's only his 7th year in MX2 and he is facing the adversity of 2nd place challenging him, only 4-5 seconds a lap slower. I for one am glad that he decided to duck the competition in MXGP again this year.
Make the change to Keystone Light, it will help you from being so bitter.

You can't sandbag the pro class. Simple as that.

You sure about that, he is definitely moving up next year?

I wonder what the nut sugglers will say when he decides to stay down and win 4 mx2 titles( which 3 is the record), herlings has always stated its all about the records for him.

What year did you win the MX2 championship?

Well there is a part of this forum that likes to bag on Herlings more than actually watch the GPs. True fans of our sport!!!

Herlings is awesome, we all know that. It's just fun to poke fun at him from the comfort of our Mom's basement...Smile
If he hadn't gotten hurt on that 85 he could have knocked down one more super mini title also.....

His lines were perfection, his ability to miss braking and acceleration bumps - genius. There is not much more to say. You have to see it in person.

Does this thread come under the same category as "JS7 should retire" threads

Exactly.... I'm 38 years old and my dad first took me to a race at 6 weeks old, I have been involved in moto my whole life and I have never seen another rider do what he does.... I have seen, in person Stewart, RC, RV2, MC, SE72, Thorpe, Malherbe, TC222, Febvre, Gaisjer..... The best of the best and watching Herlings is on another level, you have to witness the kid, and he is still a kid to believe it.
He's not my favourite by a long way, and maybe he should be in the MXGP class but you can't knock him like some on here are.

I had just assumed that KTM was waiting on Tony to retire before moving Jeff up to the star spot.

Is the MXGP class considered to be a higher level than MX2?

I have no problem with him being in mx2 except for the fact that I don't get to watch him! The dude is next level like bubba was! I mean those guys that finished 4-5 seconds a lap behind herlings the last two years are dominating the premier class now!

I know mx math is dangerous but in theory, even when he moves up we won't get to see him on the broadcasts! Haha

I know he's a bit of a jerk and is kinda prone to crashing but he is my favorite to win any race in the world he lines up for right now regardless of class or location

The guy floats around the track! What I wouldn't give to have that feeling for just one lap!

You cry baby, absolute dumb asses are giving the U.S. a bad name...lol
Get over it, he's faster than you can imagine in your tiny minds.
If he was in the U.S. series, he'd be smoking the pack there as well.
When he moves up to the big bikes, he'll be at the front and in contention.
I guess if he was American, you'd all be clambering to kiss his ass at every opportunity..lol
