So Dungey said it's either him or me? And since Monster already have a deal with JLaw, while Dungey has his with Rockstar? ONE was forced to say bye bye Dungey?

But basically Dungey induced this because of his dislike of JLaw?

Both parties will be happier without each other in the end.

You guys must still be living in the 2008 season......you didn't see his interview where the team is on the weigh of his shoulders? He is financially backing the team so if he screws up the whole team dies as well as his finances. My guess is you'll see a much different off the track Jlaw.
I've gotta actually agree with this. I was a big fan of JLaw on the track but not really off the track. At A1 we were watching 250 unseated practice 2 and JLaw and Ryno came up into the stands to scout the track. We watched him pose for several pictures, sign a few autographs and take the time to shake hands with people all while trying to stay focused on the task at hand. I will say without a doubt Ryno or whoever is coaching his off track personality seems to be doing a good job so far.

One was in truly shitty form for firing someone that already quit.......

Sure, Ryan over-reacted to the whole thing, but how emotional were you at that age? Never said or did anything you wished you could take back? Never did something that could be construed as "immature"? It's not like he's getting into drunken brawls or rolling rental cars in the middle of a campground. Sheesh!

There have been rivalries in the past that evoked as much emotion. Hannah was a hater. It worked for him.

Just a reminder that RD will be West Coast and Outodoor Champ this year (barring a season ending injury).

As much as I hate Lawrence and wish that last part was true, I really see Dungey imploding yet again this year.

Hahaha, the "wrong size pants" tantrum was probably the funniest bit of BS to come from this.

Can't understand why such a thing would rattle Dungey so much.

I'm betting there's a spike in ONE sales this week.
If nothing else, just from the hype.

Man I cant wait to get the full story on this deal.
Sounds like either a knee jerk reaction, or somebody at Monster needed a favor.

Fuck ONE. I wont even run their numbers from here on out. I hope they are the next ALLOY. Sounds like they got the right guy at the reigns.

Didn't JT have everybody covered back then? They sure dominated the market.

Hannah, Howerton, Glover, Smith, Tripes, Mikkola, Sun, Hansen...

So where is Cryan Ryans mom, cousin, brother, manager, Tiki, and the rest of the people who said it was all bs internet rumors and we were all stupid to believe it? All the "irresponsible journalism" posts about how Erin didn't know what she was talking about? This just adds more to the hype of those two racing against eack other every week. Everyone seems to have their favorites in this, well except for Gibby, he likes them all and doesn't choose sides. Wink

I think the deal is he probably feels a little betrayed because they hired his main rival after using his name and image to help launch the new clothing line. Plus he had been established with them for a few years and probably felt he had a good relationship going. They broke his trust is what I think.

Your wear gear based off what rider is not wearing it?

Maybe Dungey will show up in Fly Racing gear.

Bingo. Honestly, who wouldn't feel a little shafted in that scenario?

Wow real mature there, hey maybe you could start a web site to shut them down? How does this affect you? You don't like them, we get it,. wishing for any company involved in mx to fail for signing a rider is a stupid thing to say. So say they fail, will you sleep better at night? I mean what's in this for you?

In the 18-24 demographic of supercross, I'm sure that way more kids would buy one gear because of lawrence over dungy.Lawrence got mucho sponsor time on the speed channel broadcast and it will continue all year long. I think One will get more than their monies worth with the bad boy.

It is really kind of funny how people are now picking Dungey as the bad guy in the Dungey/JLaw battle. LOL!

x 2... agree.

RD's business team (and RD) are looking out after his personal and business interests. Do I wish they could wear the same gear?...yes. But it won't happen.

But this is a business at this level and RD (and JL) have a few years too try to cash in the $. More power to both of them if they could do it. They are both great riders from 2 different backgrounds.

Bottom line .... they will both be fine and let's go racing.

I hope JL and RD do battles (on and off the track) and both step up and shake each other's hands and be done with it. Maybe we will see them at Glen Helen at the Vet Nationals in 10 years still fighting, or hugging it out.... time will tell. RJ and Ron Lechein hated each other, but they at least talk and laugh about it now.

Meanwhile the PC team have a clear focus and Payton and company will collect another #1 place for the PC Transporter.

Who gives a rat's ass what either of them wear? I imagine all that gear comes out different doors in the same factory in China anyway.

Yeah, that was pretty stupid I guess.

I just feel like something shady went on. Maybe I'm wrong? I probably am actually. But thats why I said I would like to know the full story.

And its not that I dont like them. If I had to pay for my own graphics in a given year, I always bought ONE. I also would run their numbers if I wasnt using pre-printed and my next to last helmet was a Trooper.
