Not a hater...but he's not proven anything except he knows good PR. And if I was a betting man, which I am, I'd bet the whole enchilada that he fks up again.

How serious about training is he? His statement that he was going to "dork out" and start training doesn't show any respect for the process . Really, RC, JS7, Dungey, all the way back to O'mara, Barnett, Hannah all dorks for training hard?

How do you know who was a hater or a supporter? Seems to me the Vital vibe was anyone who wasn't a J-Law supporter, wasn't because he was fucking up and not making good decisions for himself or the sport. Any sensible person would certainly pull for him when he shows that he's seen the error in his way and wants to take full advantage of a new outlook.

I was never a J-Law "fan" but I am pulling for him with his new attitude. If he fucks up again and it is due to his immaturity/irresponsibility I'd call him on that shit just like anyone who knows the difference between right and wrong and has integrity would.

He says he's doing it for the kids, that statement pretty much sets some stringent parameters for what his new behavior should reflect. I hope he can abide by the goals he sets for himself. He could be great for the sport.

Yeah, I hear ya. Im not Jlaw apologist, and wish he would served the entire year sentence to really give him time to think. But as much of a hardass as I can be about discipline stuff, I also applaud any man who will stand up to his mistakes, apologize sincerely, take the heat and try to get back up. I know its cliche, but I grew up with Evel Knievel as my hero and that was the message he preached to kids in the early 70s.

Bobby, did you forget that Evel did time for breaking the arm of a reporter with a baseball bat? Oh, the irony!

Oh I know he did that, Evel was no saint for sure. He did his time and always said it was a stupid mistake.

So, none of you guys, after watching those videos, think this kid is just screaming to anyone that will listen "I'm miserable and I don't know why."

Good luck Jason. I hope you do find some relationships that make you comfortable, keep you out of trouble, and help you to ride to your potential.

Putting Dungey in the same line as RC, JS, etc is an insult. JL's results will show us how serious he is. We don't know him or how he matured. A1 can't come soon enough.

Who won 08 west sx championship? I forgot.

I'm not so sure it's about loving a come back story as much as it's about the fact that we all know he has enough talent to run w/JS,CR and RV if he puts the work in and we'd all be in heaven if there were 4 or 5 guys on the line that could win on any given night. Guys with the natural ability that JLaw and JS have don't come around too often and it would be a shame to see that go to waste. He's a blast to watch and I'm sick of the I'm super-pumped podium interviews. I personally would love to see a little Jlaw flavor at the top for once. It's been a while since we've had someone like him up there..

Oh and to all the people that are surprised all the "so called haters" from before are all band wagon supporters now. It's because there's a fine line between being fun to watch and listen to --to becoming a total punk tool. I was one of the guys hating on JLaw before and am totally behind him now. I've always loved watching JLaw ride and have always loved his podium interviews. But then there's a point where he starts believing the hype and being out of control and it becomes punk shit. There's a fine line between a rebelious outspoken athlete and being a punk. Very fine line. Few can pull off being outspoken without looking like a punk but when they do there's nothing funner to watch. A good example of it being done right is Mohhamed ali and a good example of it being done wrong is Terrell Owens. Hannah was the last to pull it off in MX and I loved him. I was just a kid then an Hannah never did anything that made my dad say don't be like him. We all know we can't say the same about JLaw. I hope that changes.

So he's been to jail, never worked fast food, still doesn't live in a ditch, owns a championship and turns out isn't bad for the sport!!

Now what's left for the haters to hate???? every prediction about him has been wrong! He just keeps proving the haters wrong over and over and over, yet this time the haters don't seem to have any ammo left...

"oh he's got a new attitude and he's doing it for the kids so now he must be a completely different person and I'll support him" - hahaha you fuckin haters are priceless!

How long will it be before he falls from glory in your 'holier than thou" eyes??? You've over-reacted to every single one of his "stunts" yet now you think he's gonna live up to your ideal moto-hero??

Ya ya, America loves an underdog, well fuck you, if that's true y'all shoulda been fans of JLaw a long ass time ago! He's been an underdog for years! Praise Jesus.

Wow, it's a holiday. Have a cup of "lighten up."

I guess our sport is full of cookie cutter personalities if J-Law seems like such a mysterious, fascinating character. He rides a dirt bike well, likes to get rowdy, and has anger issues.Sounds like a bunch of people I have known.
I don't know why people are so obsessed with his hair and the size of his biceps and stuff like that. It's a little silly, and I think J-Law would agree.
