You can host your pictures on photobucket and insert the html for the pictures.

The bike description sounds a lot like my 76 but it had a snail pipe.

LOL ...... remember taking out the fork springs and only running air in the forks?

Awesome job with the bike Kevin. Are you going to race/ride it or keep it for show?

Nice bike. How does the exhaust keep from getting crunched shut, though?

I was concerned also about the silencer getting damaged. We took the shocks off and it would have to fully colapse and break the chain to do damage. I have the shocks set up for my weight at 170lbs and an expert rider.
I have never bottomed out these Fox shocks and I am a jumper. LOL
These up pipes were coppied from the factory bikes back in the day. the frames were never really made for up pipe until 1979
Thanks for the compliments
I had thoughts of seeing what the bike would bring on ebay. I know what it takes to do another and find the parts and I know how much $$$ a good bike can bring.
If I dont sell it I will be racing it in the Fla. vintage series again next season that starts in Oct. 2009 FLVMX.com. I have another 1976CR125, 1975 CR 250, 1974 MR 50 & 1986 CR250 This bike is the pride of my collection at this time.

Sweet bike. There was so much stuff available for the Elsinores back then. That bike in itself did more than any other bike in history to fuel the aftermarket hop up industry. I'm guessing you have your eyes open for a DG swingarm next? There is some of that stuff out there!

Nice job Kevin. I'll see you this fall now that i've moved up to A.

Hopefully my evo1 bike will be ready so we can ride the same class. Good luck with the new bike!

Great quote
Lou Brock was my baseball hero back in the 60's & 70's. Actually I followed the Cards pretty close. I was born 70 miles south of St. Louis and Bush Stadium.
I even have a Cards jersey in the closet.

Curt Flood was the center fielder....Great bat too. Got screwed over by owners/MLB when he sued for Free Agency and won....Dave McNally was actual first Free Agent signee think....Brock was great all around player; arm, bat and stole bases blind......McCarver caught; Dal Maxwell on 2nd..Bob Gibson one of the greatest pitchers....mounds use to be flat and part because of him, MLB built up the mounds...think...he had that 1.12 ERA year in '68, '69...phenominal.

Oh yeah, really nice Elsie. Was wondering 'bout the silencer too...looks kinda cool like that..

Good luck; real cool bike. Say race it while you can.

Last time I went to the stadium about 4 years ago it was Bob gibson day. He was there in the press box. They gave away Gibson Bobble head dolls. I have 2 LOL
Some people collect ridiculous stuff dont they. LOL
Getting My 1986 CR 250 ready now. David Baily came to a FLVMX race last season and I had 1 one my vintage Honda Jersey's singed by him. I know RJ won in 86. Maybe he will come by some time and sign the bike. He could bring Marty Smith too and sing my DG racer.

That's a sweet looking bike. The '77 CR was my first "big" bike, rode the wheels off it.

All I changed was the shocks to Mulhollands, and changed the variable width knobby rear tyre (remember that innovation? A tyre that suits all types of terrain in one) to a Metz and I was away.

I always wanted the 76 red racer when it came out. Igot my first sponsored ride back in 76 it was from a yamaha dealership in miami (Gables Yamaha). Joey Gratton, Jimmy King and a few others along with myself.

There's got to be some CrossUp Incorporated swingarms out there still. Nice CR!
