It's racing.
If your going to say Stewart shouldn't have pushed his bike off the track then Windham shouldn't have decided to skim the whoops with a a couple of riders down and 3 flaggers on the track. Grant didn't and he won.

But, that's just my opinion. I'm not a professional SX rider like some of you.

How does anyone know what the flagger was yelling at James to do? What if the flagger was yelling, "get that off the track over here" or some other idiotic thing that flaggers tend to do?

I'm not dismissing either James's actions (my opinion was for him to look before moving) or KW's (should have slowed on the yellow) didn't he see the direction that Stewart was already moving in?. An unfortunate set of circumstances. Things happen fassssssssst out there.

With the bike between two whoops you didn't expect JS to turn it around and exit on the other side of the track do you? The flagger didn’t influence the direction James tried to exit the track, the direction the bike was pointed did.

It’s all opinion today anyway and is a great start to what looks like a great year of racing.

windham has been racing pro for 87 years.

he of all people should know what a yellow flag is and how to navigate the track. especially whoops.

they both fucked up and they both could have been seriously injured. yellow flags are out for a reason. SLOW DOWN and use CAUTION

Bubba should get some type of punishment. Walking into the only available racing line without even looking up the track is asinine and dangerous. This is not the first time Bubba has done somthing that a novice racer should know better than to do.

I feel that Stewart was knocked silly for a few seconds and was honestly trying to do the right thing by getting out of the way, I just can't believe that I'm reading the typical BS on here by Paul Fleming trying to blame Windham for everything.

It was a racing deal and that kind of stuff happens. To try to shift the blame strictly to Windham is ridiculous.

You want to punish a guy that obviously has a concussion and is scrambled? Yeah, that makes sense.

Nothing more than an unfortunate circumstance for KW. He probably would have won the race if he made it through clean but that's racing.

Yes, but after he drags that one out he kind of walks around like his job is done. Then he sees another rider coming around the turn and has to run around behind Reed waving his arms. After that I believe he pulls another one out behind Reed. I suppose it was kind of panic mode at the time.

Just watched it 10 times. Stewart never looked.

If he had a concusion then he should be banned from racing for at least 10 days (of course he and nobody on his team has said that he had a concusion).

If the quote of his version is true then the boy needs to grow up some or be taught a lesson. The sport made him. He did not make the sport. NOTHING is all about him.

And on top of it, his actions on national live TV after his mistake were like a 5 yr old throwing a tantrum because someone took his toy. I have never seen such a pathetic display of anger from the "top" participant in ANY sport.

And he might want to learn how to start a four stroke after a crash. Might come in handy this year.

Actually, in a split-second, Kdub saw an opportunity for another shot at the title... he could T-bone Stewart and end his season, and everybody would say "it's racing." So he aimed his bike and fired and hoped for the best... but alas, he was unable to break Stewart's leg.
