Yeah, me either, but if it's reported on the Internet by enough people, it then becomes presumed, and really that's more important than the facts.

Remember how many people were saying JBS was done at Kawasaki. Then he came out and said he is still getting checks from them? Kinda of shut those people up.

Even if they fire him, at least they took the time to fully look at the whole situation and made a decision with a cool head. Better than the AMA just coming down on him a day after it happend.

Jason is fast as hell on a bike, and yes, even though 21 is legally an adult, he is still a kid.

He will make immature decisions. Part of that falls on that Jason really has had no one giving him the proper guidance. He has been treated as this superstar on a bike since he was on minis.

He was/is an employee of YOT, and a representation of the sport of motocross. On or off the track, he is an extension of YOT and motocross, and should know his actions reflect on not only himself, but his employers/sponsors and the industry he is in(motocross).

He is at the track to work...to race his bike at the pro level for YOT. He is not there to drink and party. That stuff can be done after the race. There is too much money and attention these days in racing. The good ol' days are gone.

I really like Jason as he is sometime fresh in our sport, but he needs to realize there are other kids coming up that will take his spot in the sport just as quick.

Team's fault?

Are the Atlanta Falcon's responsible for Michael Vick?

I guess YOT had an obligation to put Jason in one of those rail cars that transports animals to the circus and let him out only to practice and race....Sorry to let you folks that many riders finally leave home, move to Cali and fuck things real good/real quick...Jason just happened to be in the spotlight more...

Is it JGR's fault that Hansen is Hansen??

All you do is trash the kid. You are one of the few who actually seem to want him gone. Most agree he should get his act together but they don't completely hate him. They don't even know him. You and 500guy should ride of into the sunset. You are both too grumpy.

Before this gets completely off subject and misinterpreted.

Is Jason responsible for his own actions? YES

If someone hires a person known to have issues, are they partly responsible? YES

If people are around this person and do not try to adjust the situation, are they partly responsible? YES

If someone takes this person on, in whatever capacity, and knows his issues, is he or she partly responsible? YES.

There is more to this in some respects, thats all.

Alan

I don't even get it? He lacks some common sense. They don't teach commen sense in school. He went to school up till the 10th grade, which is alot longer than alot of the guys now in days. He speaks like any other 21 year old. He can carry on a conversation, he's the best interview in the sport. Has the best podium speeches. I don't know if he can write or not, but I guess he doesn't really have to at this point.

There are plenty of kids who are home schooled, who can barley write a sentence, never thought of J-Law as one of them.

I have read most of the information and opinions about Jason.

There are others involved in Jason's career who should be taking part of the blame for his off and on track performances.

Jason has been the same since his amateur days, at least in attitude. Along with his talents on a bike, his attitude and lack of respect is what got him a YOT ride and number 1 plate. It is a package that allows him to ride with the best.

If someone takes on this package then they should have put together a program to help ensure that Jason was in a position to not allow the escalation of his personality into law breaking, arrests and eventual dismissal from racing.

From my standpoint, I like Jason and his 'never say die' attitude, it is what makes him a great rider but you cannot take a kid, give him a lot of money, move him to California, have people around him that perpetuate negative outcomes and then act as if he is a responsible adult.

Just one opinion.
Alan
What I don't understand is why people are saying "give the kid a chance", "it's not his fault" "he is just a kid". BS. He has put himself into situations that
only bad can come for it. If the excuse “he is only a kid” were true then why isn’t RV or RD doing the same thing? How about the 16 year old gymnast Shawn Johnson?
Did Ricky or James ever get arrested twice in the same season? I don’t remember them ever having a brush with the law.
His action thus far are no different than that of Randy Moss or Terrell Owens. He thinks he is better than everyone else & his actions are ok. It sounds to me like Jason
has never heard the phrase “respect is earned not given”. Growing up I learned very young that my actions have consequences. This is something that most young people
have no concept of. They do something dumb, they know they were wrong, get into trouble & mom & dad come to the rescue. You can’t do that to MY kid.
It’s time the he starts owing up to what he does. Jason needs to grow up!! if he wants to be in the spot light & make the big money racing he is obligated to more than just himself.

Jason is a great rider I’ll give him that. What he need to understand is it’s not what he does on the track that matters, it’s what he does & how he treats people that matters.
I hope the very best for him, I hope that this is a learning experience & that he grows from it. He may lose his ride he may not. If he does I hope it make him a better person & rider.

Good luck Jason you still have people cheering for you.

nobodys acting like jlaw didnt put himself in this situation. "right & wrong" is almost always debateable in any situation. he messed up, right or wrong, he's out of a job right now, nobodys saying otherwise.

its super-judgemental holy-ier-than thow hypocrites such as yourself who act like youve never made a mistake in your life. you havent accomplished half of what jlaw has in his short life so im gonna guess youve made quite a few mistakes and missed some opportunities along the way.

you have not the slightest clue what its like to be under the microscope that he's under. 99.9% of us here dont know, but theres a ton who seem to think theyve lived a perfect life.

i would so love to see some of you have to endure just a few months of the scrutiny that comes along with being high profile.

nobody is saying that jlaw has put himself in this situation. he isnt the only jackass in the pits who parties. hes not the first, and wont be the last. he does have a knack for getting caught tho, and thats on him. nobodys denying that.

i'd also love it if everyone was as out in the open as jlaw is. jerkoffs like yourself would have nobody to root for if you knew what half these guys were like on there own time. and god forbid you ever looked in the mirror.

jlaw isnt that different than any other 21 year old i know. i was the same way, thank god i wasnt under any microscope to be judged by a bunch of hypocrites.

i suppose none of you have ever gotten drunk, been a smartass, got in a brawl, etc etc etc.

jlaw may be held to a higher standard because his job requires it. i wont disagree there, but he's been handed a hefty punishment. why is it youre so envious that feel its neccessary to pile on? you dont write his checks, youre not his parent, you dont work fof the ama, chances are you probably never have even met him.

what position are you in to judge? why do some of you care so much? its envy. its one thing when RC calls the kid out. its another when some annonymous "saint" from vitalmx does.

Nothing flew over my head. The TEAM should not have to babysit him. His TEAM was probably tired from working all week and getting the bikes ready for WORK the next day. I wonder how his new mechanic felt knowing that he wasted all his time prepping a bike that wasn't going to get used because his dumbass rider was in jail.
rucka,I'm sure his new mechcanic felt like the thousands of riders over the years of motocross & supercross feel when they busted there ASS all week and their FUCKING Bike broke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! During the FUCKING moto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

His mechanic left because Jlaw wouldn't pay for the damaged rental car in Texas.

You looking for a pat on the back for your parenting skill? I mean really, is your kid in the spotlight making a bunch of money? You said yourself J-Law isn't the typical 21 year old, but still felt the need to compare him and your son.

Here we go again with the dui thing. Do you know for a fact if he has been convicted three times of dui? Who gets three dui's and spends no jail time? Just where are the facts or police reports of these three dui convictions?

336,
from your use of the F word and derogatory name calling your age may be working against you.
Did you read my second post? apparently not.
Do you know any other words that you can use other than the F word to make a point?
If so you may be able to have a more comprehensive conversation with someone and you just might be taken seriously.

Just for the record:
why are you so angry?
how old are you?

If you will stop cussing, I will have Jason do better.

by the way, your only 2 digits away from being arrested, fired and thrown under the bus on the internet.

Alan
