That wasn't his fault, but James Stewart should seriously consider retiring. He's not getting any younger. The injuries are going to keep piling up. I doubt he would ever be able to stay healthy for an entire season.

Looked like Weston drilled him from behind.
You can see James left foot jolt off the foot-peg from the impact.

Do every racer has an obligation to hit Stewart if he's running up front?

Stew even looked over at Peick and still pulled right into his path.

Sure seems that way.

Congrats to MA800. Beat several factory riders in that heat.

Even before that crash he looked pretty sketchy. I wish he would just pack it in already and get healthy for outdoors.

Stewart isn't out, he got up and finished the race. I sure hope he takes Peick out in turn 1.

Maybe not but was it a good idea to not triple and still try to cover the inside line with faster traffic coming up on him?

Hell yeah MA800! Awesome ride I hope he can run inside the top 10 in the main. I really thought today was the day Stewart would finish a race and get top 10. That's looking doubtful now. I don't think that move was intentional on Peicks part. He was committed to the triple already and had nowhere to go.

Actually JS7 was looking ok. Sketchy sometimes, but also in some parts the brilliant Stewart we know like the tap in the section just after the finish line. He just needs laps !

You are delusional if you think things will be any different outdoors. He is too old and busted to ever come back 100% and even if he did it wouldn't last. The time of James Stewart is over and his fans need to get over it.
