He was 1.5 sec off the pace in session 1 and 2.5 sec off the pace in session 2. 10th fastest overall. He was good but does that classify as "very fast" ?

BINGO! So therefore I am not going to go out and get beat. Just retire and move on to other things. Suzuki deserves someone actually riding their bike. His mechanic has the easiest job in the Pits. Unload bike and put it on the display stand.

Surely you jest. Criticism is hateful and hurtful. These riders and fans need a 'safe place' so that they aren't subject to offensive words. It's the reason that riders have their own motorhomes at the races. If they were in the truck with their mechanics and team managers, they may have to 'feel' something other than great. Ever notice how some of them always have their earbuds in? It's to drown out the hate man. You need to be more sensitive. Not every motocrosser is a grizzled, old school vet that welded his own frames and paid his own way. Some of these young people deserve a trophy. Just because.
