Atlanta Gate Malfunction

Is it me or do we have more gate malfunctions now then ever before ? If it even "malfunctioned" tonight .

In my opinion that should've never been a restart looked like one guy jumped the gate and 8-10 other guys reacted. I don think it was an actual gate malfunction. But I don't work for the AMA.

Is it me or does it depend on WHO gets stuck in the gate dictating when there is a restart?

agreed.. looked ok to me too.. they were saying 'oh it wobbled'.. i didnt see it.

I agree if it was just privateers that flag doesn't come out. I also think whoever stuck it first made it move then everyone else went.

I didn't play close attention, but were there riders on both sides of the box that jumped? If so, I bet the gate did actually flinch

I didnt see a malfunction - just front wheels raming the gate before it dropped.

Good theatrics by throwing your hand up 5 feet off the start. Puts the ama in a tough spot to make a quick call to restart.

I didn't see a malfunction either. Looked like rider reaction. But I'm no pro!

The only reason I think it malfunctioned would be because riders on both sides stuffed it into the gate.

Was not a malfunction, all 3 riders hit the gate prior it dropped.

I didn't see one either. RC , Emig and Ralph didn't see it on the replay's either. I think a few jumped , which caused more to jump.....and it caused the gate to move slightly when they hit it. Most just got to anxious.
