interesting, in most sports touching the referee is a big deal, although in a situation a warning was probably the most appropriate response ,

as to the original complaint, seems weird that Dungey would be ok with it, and Decoster carries on with the complaint,

So Dungey gets his way because DeCoster complains? If Canard and Dungey talked it over and it's all cool why in the hell does Gallagher have to get in the middle of it? Oh never mind the show is ran by idiots that can not for the life of them make a definite decision and stick with it. Guess different rules apply to different people.

So it seems like maybe Honda no longer has as much pull with the racing officials they once had? KTM is spending more money now so the rules tend to follow the money in this sport.

I don't think the problem is the event itself but Cannard response to the official. I don't know of any sport where you can poke the reffree in the chest and not get a few games penalty.

I didn't see trigger finger John give RD5 a warning for a bad decision on his incident with Stewart which damaged his brain. Swingarms must be held in higher regard. Is there a test for swingarms to be allowed to be used again after a serious impact?

I don't know anything about this incident, but Gallagher got one thing right at least. Trey does need to make better decisions in general. It's about time someone told him that, instead of just saying bad luck all the time

That was one incident, how many times has he landed on someone else or crashed into the back of them? At least 4 times in the last year that I can remember

Well, after reading past Vital posts, this warning makes sense. Any time Trey crashes, or get's landed on, there's an uproar from some that he has horrible decision making abilities. Dumb luck follows some people around. Look at Stewart, AC, and Townley. What I like is how we know very little of the actual details that transpired, and now I'm reading where Dungey (golden boy) is getting it his way, and now KTM is running the roost. Man, talk about your conspiracy theories.

Why people are trying to relate the dungey canard incident with the dungey Stewart incident is beyond me. Let it go. It was a racing incident. Dungey wasn't pulled aside because he doesn't have a "history" of bonehead moves. Every single rider will be involved in some sort of racing incident throughout their careers so it's to be expected. I love canard, but no one here can deny that it's been discussed in great deal that canard makes poor split second decisions. It has happened numerous times. It's very, very rare however that canard does these things with intent. Which is why he has never been fined or penalized. Gallegher was telling him to be more careful. Things got a little heated and this thing got over blown. Gallegher and canard will hash things out and everything will be fine. But us vitards will continue to talk about it and blow it out of proportion. Happens every time!

People crash and people get injured, it's part of the sport, and some people have more injuries than others, I get that. Canard has been unfortunate with some injuries he has had, but I'm just talking about the amount of times he has crashed into someone else, which is a lot! More than anyone else that I can remember. I refuse to believe that it's just coincidence or bad luck every time, it happens too often. So, whilst I don't know anything about this incident, I don't have a problem with some telling Trey to calm down, or that he needs to make better decisions, because I think in general it is true
