Rap? Did we ever decide whether both riders going down means a move was "dirty"? I'm trying to keep up here!

Dude has a story to tell and FS1 has to fill the down time somehow. They picked something with some entertainment value, why not?

When you're trying to plead about how tough you had it doing manual labor to survive, you might wanna leave out the fact that it was for daddy's company and also not show your private supercross track, just saying.

I like it,we have 17 rounds, short will probably get a segment,as Weimer may as well...I liked it,then again,I also like his music. Keep in mind I'm a younger fan,you older dudes can have all the Andrew short you want another week. This week 722 was on the segment...I don't understand what the big deal is...

you guys are brutal. the guy is great....bag on skids like grant, pourcel or milsaps that don't give an effort. 722 spent time up here in canada last year at arenacross and he's like the fucking pied piper....kids following him around everywhere. the effort he puts in with announcers, staff ect is unreal. there needs to be more guys that appreciate everything they have and give back instead of collecting checks and squandering talent.

I enjoyed the segment people need to stop bitching about everything and enjoy the coverage. Not everything is going to suit your style, get over it.

Perhaps you should leave your opinion about that to yourself. I can't speak for him, but I can speak from personal experience that the toughest boss I ever had was my dad. The toughest coach I ever had was my dad. Just because someone works for "daddy's company" doesn't mean they are treated easier. In some cases, it's quite the opposite

Then you all obviously missed the point. Seven duece duece is the people's champ. Period. He is one of the nicest guys in the pits and bust his ass (for a quarter of the price). Not only have I witnessed but you hear it from people that are at the races that Adam is the nicest guy in the pits every weekend. So before we go looking at a person solely on his results take a step back, dust off your cranky ass old people ways, and take in some Seven duece duece. I mean for fucks sake the guy made a main event this year back the hell off. Or I guess you are the type of person that likes to hear the robots talk about how great their bike is and how their trainer is working them so hard and they need to thank the same fucking people every time they get around a microphone. So please once again. Stop. And let some variety in our sport before you go all Donald Trump and want to kick everyone out you don't agree with.
Well said.

Exactly. I worked for an Uncle of mine on a family dairy farm. Toughest boss I ever had. I got zero special treatment. And if/when I screwed up he would tell my dad. Got my ass chewed twice.

I worked for my old man for a few years. Definitely didn't get special treatment. I got worked harder than anyone else, and was the guy that got called in if someone called out.
Working for family doesn't automatically equal a walk in the park.

Adam is a part of the sport. He brings entertainment value, maybe not for everyone. This sport needs to market itself towards the younger generation ( Young ladies ) and the guys up front may not always be the right guys for that job not to mention not everyone wants to see the same people over and over and over again.

Some of you Vagitards would complain about a million doaslrs and a BJ. It was a cool segment on a different side of the sport. If you didnt like it you could have used the time clean the sand out of your nether regions....

Hvaughn88.......i agree with you, my dad owned his own business and he could smell a slacker from a mile away. I swore when I was younger that I would not be like that when i got older. Well now my son feels the same way about me. Working the family business does not necessarily mean your're on easy street, believe me you are usually your dads whipping boy.

I'm 47 years old and have never gotten starstruck around famous people, don't feel the need to take pictures, get autographs, ask for favors, etc. I just don't care about how special someone thinks they are because they just happen to be a lot better at something than the rest of the world. But I love to walk up to strangers and shoot the shit with them if I think we have common interests.

If you lined up every dude that made the night show last night and 722.......i would approach 722 every time because I know he's not a self absorbed primadonna that the majority of the others may be????? And I wouldn't hesitate to walk my kids up to Adam either because I know it will be a good experience for them. I couldn't care less how "fast" you ride a motorcycle, if you are a self-important dick and treat me as though I've hit the lottery just to be able to talk to you....I have no use for you. I just laugh when I see an asshole that thinks they are gods gift to mankind. Adam is not that guy in my opinion.

Vital 99% of the time: "privateers deserve more exposure! They're the true hero's of our sport!!!!"

Privateer finally gets a segment on the broadcast: "who's this guy? What a douche. Why do we have a segment on a guy that's only made one main? Let's do one on the factory guys. No one cares about these scrubs"

You guys are some real pieces of work. Hopefully since it's valentine's day some of you will get some ass and stop being so damn cranky.

So his dad has a little business, money, and land. More than most have but nothing compared with the big boys. Adam could stick around home and be the big fish but he chooses to go after a dream...good on him. The more I hear folks dig at him the more I like him.

The reason they are so cranky is the fact that there Valentine broke out the strap on and they ended up taking it in the ass Evil

Some of you guys are WHACK. How can you not be stoked for a guy that has been so successful at self promotion in this sport? Especially because sometimes he's glad just to make the main - which is a HUGE accomplishment in itself when you think of how many gates there are - not to mention the sacrifice and effort it takes to even get a shot.

Most of you guys have even been along for the ride with him on Pulp and Vital. This sport is small and to be able to survive and carve a niche for your self is awesome.

Not everyone can be Ryan Dungey and it takes a full gate to race AMA Pro SX, everyone out there should have your respect. I race moto so I know how hard it is to do what they do so they ALL definitely have my respect and I would never begrudge 722 or any privateer some success, coverage or extra publicity.

As my buddy Ando once famously said about himself - he's just trying to "Perpetuate the Stoke" or "Spread the love" as 7deucedeuce puts it. How can you not like and cheer for him? I'd even be cheering if he passed my guy and I can't say that about many other riders.

Jeez, don't be haters show some love to a moto brother when he's down. Just getting back up to speed after coming back from an injury and now a femur. That sucks and I hope he gets well soon to 100% and shows up on Pulp ASAP to perpetuate the stoke seven22 style!

Some of you Vitards' favorite riders could learn a thing or two about marketing from the ol' 722.

As far as the 722 segment, my observations were as follows:

1. He obviously is trying very hard to race, keep his equipment up, practice, train, etc. I admire him for that.

2. He is a very quirky dude, we get that. To some, they relate. Not real professional appearing though.

3. He's trying way too hard to be a "Baller", a hip hop on the scene player. His rapping is very amateurish still.

4. Rap portion really threw the "wrench in the spokes" of the segment. I get it, he's having fun. Believe me, he's serious and think that he's really cool. The viewer most likely thought that was a joke put in there for entertainment value though.

5. I hope he heals up and can continue his racing effort, he seems like a nice enough guy. I'll be watching more of his racing effort when he comes back, just not a fan of the music effort though. But hey, maybe the music thing will change, most of the time your music efforts evolve over time with experience.

I know, just my opinion, I don't mean any ill on the guy, save your hate. Go Team 722, now everybody's watching your return to racing.

Was just going to chime in and say this! A bobcat and small amount of land equates to huge success?

Mxb2- He is not a struggling privateer? I bet you his income does not exceed his expenses by more than 25k a year. I don't know about any of you but I could not go 3-4 months on that income.
