I may be reading into it to much, but does a team have him out practicing? He posted this on instagram recently.

Doubt it.... whew. When Yosh thought JS7 would be oit a while they reached out to NYK. That doesn't bode well for JG33

His bike has the Monster Supercross backgrounds, and I see he's running KYB forks. Maybe he'll enter a race or two on his own dime. Stranger things have happened.

So I guess that's why he has switched to Shift gear and Fox boots.

Is he running the BFR shock? Looks like he has some decent help..

Would be awesome to see him in San Diego this weekend.

It shouldn't bother me, but you ever notice how no one just comes to the races on their own? They all have to 'start a team'.... which consists of a box van and literally everything else you would need to just show up and race. It's the new term for privateer.... "Oh I'll just start my own team".

Not saying JG33 is doing this, just popped in my head.

He should be somewhere near the 'Pourcel line'

Good news, the more stacked the better. I agree on the post above, he will qualify for the mains and should run top 10-top15. I really like what he did with team 22.

Awesome! Doesn't say what round he will start racing though.

10th-15th place.

Cool deal. He's always good for an all out occasional podium.

Laughing Grant is extremely gifted on the bike. Been kicking ass since his HHR days and can ride his way to the top of the box. Just never seems prepared to follow through with any consistency.

Quite a few guys have dropped so his chances have gone up. Like I said, he is always a threat. Maybe an unprepared one, but always a threat for a good finish. What could he do on an Aldon program?

my guess is he was sure he would be the number 1 replacement call. based on talent he should be. based on overall results he should be. filthy phil, weimer and wey havent won sx races. but nobody will pay him to race into shape. he should have gone racing since round 1 on his own if he wanted the fill in job.

Josh has had KYB stuff since Day In The Dirt.

But I wouldn't be shocked to see him drop in at a random race.

He did win Moto 1 at Glen Helen in 2014 beating Roczen and Dungey. That is no small accomplishment.

I said the samething but some insider on vital told me it cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to race the first 6 races. Hmmm he had the bike and personal sponsors so I do not get that. But good for him and if he will be hitting some races soon.

Couldn't agree more. His whole career he's been racing himself in shape, and has never seemed to buckle down with his fitness. Josh's career started a decade late.
