Why do you say that? He had 5 more wins In 2014 than RD5. I can't believe all the people swinging off Rd nuts this year.
Dungey won last year right? I mean, I don't think that saying that the defending champion who stays on the podium would be tough to beat would be nut swinging, but sure, OK. I hope Stew can come back and challenge, but 50 points? Remember 09? He won that by only a few points after a 25pt deficit. I would say he has his work cut for him, and its not probable.

Sure he can. And there's a big fat man in red that somehow slides down the chimney of my chimney-less house early in the morning of Dec. 25 every year.

I'm sorry. No, no he can't. Not unless 3-4 guys have some series-ending injuries. Don't get me wrong, I'm as bummed as anyone to see him out of this fight. But the way he was riding in practice just didn't look like James Stewart to me, so I think he made the best decision.

Was all that necessary?...

I would just be happy for him to make 5-6 events in a row at the moment.

Where in Whitey's post did he mention anything about RD? You're hanging on to James' nuts so hard that you're seeing things that aren't even there.

Maybe, but I doubt it.

Don't think so - but that may take some stress away and we may see a very fast James in some races.

Agree.

No way in hell he is in contention for this CShip

LMAO! Bubba has not won a championship in 7 years. At this point the guy is just wasting scarce resources that could be used for a rider that deserves them, and would be on the gate.

Bubba was cleared by the doctor to race tonight. He went out in practice, was 2.5 seconds slower than Dungey and pulled out, imagine that? A guy racing for a championship would race through adversity and be on that gate collecting some points.

Typical Bubba drama at round one and two.

They have to....there isn't any room left on Stews...Laughing Seriously though his chances were slim coming in this season and now not a chance. His crashing since 2009 has pretty much eliminated him each year and unfortunately this year is no different

Depends how his noggin is doing. If he thinks he's the moto version of Kyle Busch, anything is possible.

Absolutely no way.

Look at 2009.

P19 at 1st race. Then he went as follows:
1
1
1
1
1
1
1
2
7
1
2
1
1
2
3...and won the title by 4 points. Down 50, he can run the table and still not win. No on is running the table in to today field. No on is winning even 50% of the races...

You are right...I usually go to the races to see who plays it conservative and finishes 3rd.

I rarely go to see who wins the race as that's not important.
