Interesting point of view.

They come out of the turn almost at the same time. Chad a tad before Trey. They come out of 2 different lines. Reed comes out of his rut and cross jumps to the inside line. Is it a surprise he got landed on when he cross jumped a guy nearly right next to him?

How did you get that from what I said? Talk about interesting.

So what your saying is, you didn't watch the race.

It was a switch back. Inside to inside is most often the popular line. Trey completely assumed what Chad was going to do and committed blindly while following. His fault. Pretty simple. IMO of course.

Dungey left the door open. That is what happens. How do you people expect anyone to make a pass? I have to wonder how many of you actually have raced. That pass was no where near aggressive. They didn't even make contact.

You should watch it again. Dungey washes the front end over the berm and falls over and his leg rubs Treys leg.
Maybe you should watch again, theres clearly contact, not that i have a problem with that, it was a racing move. But to say he didnt touch him is straight up wrong

Except that the two previous laps Chad held his line.

In believe that Trey is a rider that has a reputation as being dirty because he makes bad choices that lead to bad things happen on the track. I do not believe that he intends to be dirty, he just constantly makes bad decisions.

I watch all the races. What I am saying is that Trey has a way of finding himself in trouble quite often. If it were "the norm" for people to run into other riders from behind 4 times in one season then it would be fair to say there should have been approximately 88 rear end collisions in the 2015 Supercross season (based on 4 per rider, per season and a 22 man gate in the main)

I personally do not remember any others incidents but I am sure I am missing a few. Don't get me wrong, I am not a Trey hater but I do however think that people can have all the opinions they want but the numbers don't lie.

You need to go back to 2008 to justify someone being overly aggressive??!?!?!? FFS Do we need now to count 1-2 'aggressive' passes in one season and label that rider as overly aggressive?!?!?!? FFS

GuyB ... Can this thread please go to dumbgeon !!!!!!

Dunge needs to take a leaf out of Canard's book and pay him back, simple :-) (it's the Reed way ;-) )

Okay, so it only took Stewart one race to get hurt and drop out, which does not surprise any of us, but how many races now will it take for Canard to eventually get injured?

Can anyone here honestly see Canard completing a 17 race series?

On that section of track you go inside- inside, no choice but to cross jump, that's the racing line. Canard committed to the pass without knowing if it was on or not... easy way to know if the pass was on , if he passed Reed, it was on ,if you land on him , it deffo wasn't.

Man some of you are a bunch of girls. I am not sure if the ones always bringing these topics up about being too aggressive have ever entered a race, be it mx, xc, bmx whatever. You don't come up behind your competitor and say, excuse me may I please go around? You find a place to make the pass and make it stick. You don't try to take them out but contact occasionally happens.

I suppose multiple wins the in the premier class and a couple of 250 titles doesn't mean much to you then? I'd love to win as little as Trey does.

Trey isn't too aggressive on purpose. I truly think he does not pay attention to the other riders. He gets closer to other riders more frequently than anyone I have ever seen. Monster Cup crash could have been avoided, Weimer crash could have been avoided, Reed, Dungey, list goes on. I truly think somehow that in his brain he filters out the other riders and truly has some kind of weird tunnel vision. In this case, I think he was literally going wherever he wanted to go on the track, even if it was all the way to the edge of the berm Dungey happened to be on. I know it's weird, but there's no other way to explain the things he does... I love Canard and his speed and style, these are just things I notice that leave me baffled haha.

You do realize the Weimer crash was 2 turns after the start, right? The entire field was close together in that rhythm section.

Besides, Weimer drifted over when he messed up his rhythm, Trey had no where to go. Racing incident, neither was at fault. Seriously people, get your eyes examined. Or your heads. Hell, maybe both.

Doesn't matter at all. I wasn't aware there was a rule stating that racers have to take the same line every lap.

Maybe you're butthurt that your screen name doesn't match your picture. And yes you are correct about the Weimer crash. I misreferenced it for one of the 30 other crashes. Is there another point you were trying to make other than just calling me stupid for my opinion on one of the many examples of this subject? If that's the only thing you picked out of my post to harp on than you didn't get the point.

And if he didn't ride so aggressive, there'd be threads by people saying he's too much of a pussy.

You do realize that Canard (like all the guys in the pack) probably should have checked up in that rhythm section instead of trying to fly through it?

It's a classic example of his poor decision making on the track.

I apologize, I didn't mean to strike such a nerve. I scrolled way back through the searches and found where a lot of this has been hashed out already.

I guess I should have been more specific in my original post. Aggressive is too broad a term, and often is a good thing in racing. "Is TC dirty?" probably would have been a better question. It seems like even the people that think that he sometimes makes poor decisions and can be aggressive still would agree that he isn't "dirty".

Personally I really like the guy, on and off the track. He seems really respectful, even when people throw dirty moves on him, and is fun to watch.
