Going to Hotlanta this year, never been, best place to stay for Supercross and maybe something to do after the race? Thanks!

As far as best idk, I've only been there once.

Choose wisely though, the thieves know people are in town for that race. I hear even people who work at the hotels being in on it. Bring anything of value inside your room, exp bikes of you're bringing any. They are not safe anywhere, aj c's bike got stolen from the pits at the stadium.

Someone needs to set up a sting operation and bust the people doing it

Coca cola park is pretty close, not sure that's the exact name. They have an aquarium in the same area that's pretty cool. I was told biggest in the country, not sure if that's true or not. Find a cool bar and get hammered

The Omni is right there at the Dome, at this point, it is probably booked solid. Wouldn't hurt to check, though. I would suggest the Westin Peachtree. It's about 4 blocks from the dome. If I fail to get a room at the Omni, the Westin is always my second choice.

We usually reserve a room here when we don't plan on driving back. Nice bar, awesome breakfast before heading to the track, room service and staff is top notch, parking is in a private parking garage via valet service.

I go every year and stay at the Hilton which is nice and should have rooms available. CNN, Coke, underground, lots of stuff to do. Buckhead which is not far from downtown is good if you wanna drink alot and/or ta ta bars.

Embassy Suites or Marriott Maquis get my vote. Both are very nice with safe parking and in walking distance from the track.

There's a Holiday Inn right at the stadium that keeps it real on room pricing. It's a nicer than average holiday inn.

All great answers as I've stayed at, or at least been in all the ones mentioned. A couple of years ago I got The Ellis on Peachtree for a good price. It was really nice and really close to all the main restaurants and stuff everyone likes to go to afterwards.

Also did the Residence Inn in downtown before too and had a really good room with a full kitchen for a decent price.

Wife and I are staying here for the third time. Close to the dome, CNN center, georgia aquarium and some decent restaurants and bars. Clean side of town, not a far walk from Peachtree if you want to hit the irish pub. Indoor pool, decent weight room. We would have done the omni, but it fills up quick
