Look, I watched the whole video, while sitting on the shitter.. I liked it, and I feel like it was time well spent, but I think it could have been better... I think the Harley part was not thought out and it needed more McGrath and more seth enslow in the whole video. It needed more dialogue and more craziness and bigger risk.. Hill and Hodges did go big but the trophy trucks didn't do dick. just my opinion. go on...

Except the one that cased the top of the dune. That one made me wince, and sent a phantom pain up my spine.

And JBernard is right, I thought The Beast was supposed to be in it?

Why aren't any of them running whips? Are they not in Glamis? Maybe they have a special filming permit that allows them not to use whips?

Cool video. Ive said it million times but will again. If the USA wants a real sand track, go out to Glamis into the big bowls (like in the video) and mark off a nice 1.5 mile track. There will be some huge gaps and it will get rougher than anyone has ever seen 10 min. into the first practice. Don't touch it, just let them ride the whole day. If they can get 100,000 + people out there camping over a holiday weekend, they could handle 50,000. How epic would that be? Put the starting gate at the bottom of Olds and let them rip up and over it into the track. It would be awesome and I will keep dreaming. It could happen, but there is one little agency that would prevent it and they are not going anywhere.

They probably just pulled them off for videos... They also are in the big bowls where no rangers will come find them.

there was a WORCS race years ago at Pismo Dunes. A few of my buddies did it and for the most part they said it was pretty fun. No paddle tires, all natural lay out.

Not very impressive, dirt shart has so much potential with the riders and girls he gets to film and it gets edited together so poorly. Doonies 1&2 have yet to deliver.

Few downsides; one, if it were to a be a national it would be during the summer... when it's about 115 degrees out there. You can say "real men" or something like that. But you're never going to get 50,000 people to stand out in the sun on the reflecting sun for hours like that.

I've personally rode Glamis for the past 18 years, it doesn't get that rough from just bikes... especially the big bowls.

We rode there this past weekend after it rained... even with the holiday traffic and buggies ripping up the bowls with wet, chunky sand... it's nothing like riding a European sand track, or some I've ridden here in the states.

Just my opinion of course...

I dunno....I thought Doonies 1 was pretty good. This one was ok but not quite as good. That said, lets see, what did we pay for the vids?
