Is this some kind of a joke? You can find the poll on RacerX.

I wouldn't make him the favourite, but I'm expecting big things from Seely this season, multiple wins, title contender

His rookie season as been as good as Roczen's in 2014, and last year a lot of peoples were expecting Ken to win the title. Why wouldn't I pick Seely as the favorite in 2016 ? ^^

Yep...in another thread someone asked who will be the biggest surprise in 16.. I think I'm the only one who suggested Cole Seeley.

If he stays healthy he will be a title contender.

That would explain his lack of participation on here lately. He's been very busy over at racerX clicking.Laughing

Does this mean they will introduce him at A1 as The Peoples' Champ and #1 in your hearts? Tongue

I like Cole, he's one of the good guys and I would like to see him win it (and I did witness his first SX win in Houston live Wink ). But anyone not named Ryan Dungey is not the title favorite to me.

I could see it happening he's always done really good on the 450 in supercross even when he would move up for a race or 2 because of the east/west split I don't think it's very far fetched at all

This is true.. Everyone wants the guys racing they're perticular brand of bike to win.. I think people just want to see the potential of what they're bikes capable of at the highest level..even if they already know.. That's positive reinforcement...I can relate to that.

Just saw this and couldn't understand how seely is that close to dungey as the favorite.... I like Cole but to put him ahead of tomac and roczen and even canard is a little crazy to me.

Roczen had a terrible year last year and Tomac is coming back from a big injury and on a new team. You have to remember in this sport if you have one bad year people think you are washed up and should retire

Seely is coming off an injury too, and only competed in four rounds outdoors. He wouldn't be in my top 3 picks for the SX championship this season, but it wouldn't surprise me to see him contending for wins in the stacked fields of the early rounds and beyond. I think it will come down to who, among 5, 3, & 94, has the most consistency in making the podium. If one of those three has an incident free season, that's probably the champ.

I will just leave this here. Dungeys track record from last year is beyond impressive.

That's your opinion.
And I'll bet you $10 that he wins A1.

Favorite, I wouldn't go that far but in many posts and podcasts he seems to be overlooked in lieu of Anderson, with the exception of this poll of course. Out of the rookies last year he certainly performed the best in supercross.

I dont see a repeat of his last season. By the time he won Roczen and Canard were hurt and Bubba wasn't there. He is a podium contender but i doubt he gets a SX victory in 2016, bit who knows he works hard.
