Has anyone had factory connection re valve service I have stock on my bike and have never thought about it. But now I'm riding to my full capability and I feel like my suspension can't keep up with me anymore. Also what does something like that cost? Factory connection corona is right down the street from me just wanna know if it's worth it and how much.

Suspension is the best money you'll spend on your bike. As far as tuners go, that's a variable. Have to find one that works for you and will work with you to get you where you want to be. Costs are variable too depending on what you need or want. It's usually the cost of revalve, springs and parts.

Go on YouTube and type factory connection and watch the shop tour. You'll send it there.

FC does great work. And they actually go to the races and offer track side support . Sure you will hear take it to Larrys extream suspension and paintball guns from somebody . But what the little shops do not have is the depths of Data base . I would bet FC dose at least 100 sets to every 1 that the little 1 off shops does . The biggest thing with suspension is being honest with the company about your riding level and to be able to tell them what you want .

If they are right down the street from you,to me it's a no brainer.

$700-1000 would be my guess but give them a call and tell them what you are looking for.

Factory Connection has a great database for each bike they work on. As long as you are completely honest on your ability, height, weight, etc they will get the suspension set up. If it's not, send it back and they will get it right.

If they are close, definitely! The do great work. For fork and shock you will be in around $500-$1000 depending on how much work you have done.

But long story short, worth every penny.

What have you tried so far to set up your suspension? Do you have the right springs for your weight? Did you set the sag? When were they rebuilt? Are your bearings in good shape?

You didn't give a lot of background info, but there's a lot that can be done to a suspension setup before going ahead with a revalve.

I always reccomend going local just in case you are not happy that way it's easy for them to redo it.

What is FC's return/re-do policy if you do not like it?

Not only do they do great work, but if you aren't happy with your setup, they'll work with you at the track and revolve it on the spot if necessary. FC does a great job.

As I understand it, FC will re-revalve your stuff 'til you're happy...

They do Rockstar-OTSFF-Yamaha-Canada's stuff...& Matt loves it.

I had mine done by FC. They did great. It was $1200, but my fat-ass needed all new springs. Besides making it a little more plush, I'd have to say that my suspension is much more predictable. It never does anything goofy.

I have 3 rides on my fc re valve. Amazing do it. I have a 15 yz250f. I was debating on getting it done since I already had the best stock suspension and it is night and day better. 30+ I will never be able to ride the bike to its full potential, but the comfort and confidence it has given me is worth the money.

Suspension is one of the most cost effective investments you can make into your bike. We'd love the opportunity to earn your business. Give me a call at the shop Motosports MD 440-724-0618. We are a full service powersports repair shop and also an authorized Race Tech Dealer. We have years of experience and also have techs on staff professionally trained by the west coast companies such as Race Tech. We will work with you to get your bike set up correctly for your type of riding. In the event you sell your bike, we'll even revalve the suspension for the new owner for free.

Factory Connection is worth every penny, Not to mention there customer service is awesome. Call them up or since you are close go down to the shop and talk to them. They will have some questions for you about your riding ability etc. in order to get the suspension set up as close to what you are looking for. Don't waste your money on "Joe Snuffy Race Suspension". You'll probably find out he used coke bottle caps for valves lol.

The biggest gains I feel are on square edge and entering and exiting corners in the ruff stuff. Pm me for pricing details

Can't overstate the advantage that FC has with the trackside support, especially if this is your first revalve. It's so much easier to make adjustments and be able to see immediate results with consistent conditions. Suspension setup is a moving target, and the trackside support is something that can't be replicated by any tuners who don't offer it.

I've personally been having someone else do my suspension the past few seasons, but I still roll over and shoot the shit with mike every time I see him somewhere, great dude. Plus even if you're not running their stuff he'll still help you with setup

I have to agree with that. Especially entering corners that are all chopped up. Most of the time I try to pick a smooth line, but when it is not available, my suspension just soaks up the chop and sharp edges with nary a whimper. Again, the suspension is predictable.

Man i couldn't do that with a straight face or without feeling like shit. If he is so awesome why not just keep your suspension with his company? Taking advantage of someones good nature to me.

I've been using a smaller local guy just because I like being able to drive to the shop. But he moved, and I'm in the market for a respring so I probably will go back to fc Mike. I do most of my own tuning and stuff so when I do stop by its mostly just to shoot the shit, but I think even if I was depending on him for setup he wouldn't mind, he's just a good dude that likes helping people.

Do it. Dont look back. It will ruin stock suspension for you for the rest of your life. Ive had them do both CRF and RMZ after chasing my own settings on both and the difference is dramatic. They will also revalve if you dont like it, and as your speed or terrain changes in the future.
