So the big upgrade for the 2016 FE's is the AER forks that already came on the regular 2016 KTM's in Europe?

What did you expect? The new gen KTMs are awesome and doing something all new for a 2016 FE bike would be stupid.

How are the 2016 FE bikes ridiculous?

The AER 48 fork is a huge upgrade. Put the KTM 450 with the WP AER fork against the Yamaha in the shootouts and the winner might be different.

The US AER 48 forks are different than the EU AER 48 forks because they use American air and not that skinny Euro fit air.

the only shootout the YZ has finished in front of the ktm in is the vital shootout.
