Easy decision.

Suzuki vs KTM

6/7 year old aesthetics vs brand new design
Last year of current design (hopefully) vs first year of current design
Last to the first corner vs one of the first to first corner
Shit bolts, brakes, gearbox vs amazing brakes and build quality
Shit air forks vs average forks
Relatively heavy vs lightest production 250f
Non-existent rider/factory team support (250) vs growing AM & pro support

The only reason I'd buy the zook is for the superior tight-turn ability. And the trade off is it *can* be sketchy as hell on rough straights.

That KYB air fork is god awful with the stock valving. Hopefully one of these suspension companies can dial it in if you decide on the RMZ

My main reason for me getting the Suzuki is the good cornering ability and I can get an amazing deal on it

The only con of the Ktm I can think of iis that it has a pro level powerband so you need the rev it out to get the power out. I rode a rmz it has decent bottom and great middle , I heard for 2016 they added bottom and top end so should be good especially with the great cornering that bike can do.

I had a RMZ 250f. Took her all the way to LL. the worst support of any manufacture . The bike did corner well but had scary head shake. Like really scary on tracks like Mammoth . Plus she was a pig to start . I went with KTM. And it comers just as good I have enough power that I look forward to a drag race up a hill on down a straight The support is like no other and it starts so easy. Press a button and. Away you go . . If I was looking at a 250f. It would be KTM yamaha Kawasaki husky is pretty much KTM so pice a color

The KTM has the lowest torque numbers compared to all the other bikes. See below.

That said, it's an expert level motor...e.g, needs to be ridden in the upper RPM range to hit max power...Similar to a 350. The 350 for example makes peak HP 4K+ RPM higher than all other 450's. To be able to ride it hard requires a good rider that understand this.

Can anyone that rode the new Ktm tell me how the power delivery is ? Is it as easy to ride as the other 250fs?

I grew up racing 125 2 strokes. So to me it fits my riding better I do own a 350 now though . Sorry for poor grammar typing on my phone. And it's the dumbest smart phone ever.

We are not taking huge rip your arm off power numbers here. All the 250f are close Its all mental. Unless you are banging off the rev limiter around the entire track. Then the power of any of the bikes will not be what holds you back . And I don't mean leaving it in 1st gear

Simple gearing change can give you the low end you want.

Pretty ridiculous reasoning. A few pics online has you against the best 250f on the market. And you are looking at 2 of the worst as a result. If you dont want to go yamaha, go kawi or honda.

What makes the blue bike the "best" and the orange and yellow "worst"? Do you ride bro? Or you just picking your favorite colors?
