I'm having issues with my forks twisting and wheeling coming out of line and also my handle bars twist super easy. Would new triple clamps help this problem or would new bar clamps held the turning in the bushings. I have a 2013 kx250f with stock triple clamps and bars

I guess these things happen when you crash?

In my experience if handlebars doesn't twist it bends. And then you have to buy a new one. Seems like you adjust the tightness of twist with 2 bolts through upper triple clamp (rubber oem inserts).

Buy an MX Bonz X6 clamp and they'll never move again.

Buy a torque wrench and go over your whole bike. That thing sounds sketchy.

I have tightened the two bolts as tight as I can get them and I can sit on my back and still twist and my bars with little effort

That's why your bike is fucked up. Those two nuts on the bottom of the triple clamps that hold the bars are only supposed to be torqued to about 22 ft lbs. thats why they are lock nuts.

But you have overtorqued them, and smashed the rubber bushings inside your triple clamps. But new rubber bushings, and new lock nuts for the bottom, or, like i said, get an MX Bonz X6 clamp.

Get new rubber bushings. Had same exact problem on a 2008 RMZ 250 and new bushings fixed it.

Yea... The bushings go when u have a wee get off.. And once they go that's them... Get the metal inserts instead of rubber and you're problem will be solved

Thats one of the problems with rubber mounted bar mounts.

Ride Eng makes a bar mount that is anti twist with a rubber mount. Not sure if they make for the KXs though.

I'll second the MX bonz clamp. Mines seen a couple big crashes and it's held strong!

I'm more worried about his forks twisting in the triple clamps at this point.

Where is RC16 when you need him? Mountain biking with rick flair i guess.

Stay away from single to table till you get it figured out.

That's not an issue. It's the ahitty kawi bar mounts. I'll throw in another suggestion for the MXBonz clamp and oversized bars. Problem solved.

If you stay running stock set up, buy a couple extra rubber cones and cup washers. When the bars get out of shape, replace cones and washers. Let ones taken out sit a few days. A lot of times they will return to shape to reuse. I got tired of doing that and replaced rubber with aluminum cones.
