Bummed the second American GP isn't at Millville. I'm sure the riders would love that track, although I'm sure the Martin's don't want to deal with the GL circus.

I'm not sure why I bother publishing the first schedule or two I get from Youthstream. This one was very different from round one.

Now that would be interesting. Although most don't consider it a REAL sand track (in the way the Lommel or Leirop is), I'm sure Cairoli and Herlings would kill it there.

I could definitely see some guys making a trip to USA. They have a month off. Some might even race two or three. Like Desalle did a couple of years ago.

I hope they keep GH on the schedule for quite a few years , but I also hope that if they decide to do a 2nd round here in the states , it ends up being a proper MX track. Basically any of the tracks would work great i think. Would be freaking sweet if Ralph and Caroline got it up at Washougal before i die of old age.

From what I understand GH is for 2016 only. 2017 will be MXDN and that means no GP that year. I don`t think they have a deal in place beyond that, but I could be wrong.

Gajser seems to really have interest in racing the whole series in the near future.
he could go over and see where he's at. Although he's not really known for his sand skills (He did win sandy races this year though)

Kongols, I think you're wrong, but I don't have enough details to say 100%. All I know is at the Glen Helen USGP post-race press conference, Bud Feldkamp and Guiseppe Luongo said they had a deal for next year and beyond to have a USGP at Glen Helen. I would have to go back and listen to the press conference again to get the exact quote, but the impression was it would be there for awhile.

Yeah I know I don't blame anyone for not wanting to run a GP, especially running a national too. But the fact that no-one wants to run one at an established track should kill the idea IMO. It says on the MXGP website that race day will be on Saturday in Charlotte, which will be pretty strange
Stranger than the day Valkenswaard falls on?

You can't make this stuff up right? Before that someone suggested Luongo will reschedule GH MXdN in 2017 if it looks like US will win. I am not making this up.

Scary huh?

I like your thinking IE Washougal but don't think you will see a MXGP at any of the present 2016 National tracks for more than a couple of reasons.

Did not see the Charlotte MXGP race coming at all. Now that it is here have to say great to have a USGP on both coasts. If YS can build a track comparable to the quality of Assen Charlotte could work out.

Know the feeling GuyB!

Every year the same deal and it will change another 3,4,5 times before the season starts then maybe once or twice one it gets underway!

check official mxgp site - looks like they have changed it! I have to change my flights within 24 hours so I don't get charged extra for changing, can anyone confirm this? I think I am best going with mxgp site?

That's the provisional version which came out early July.
Yes, that one is completely wrong now.
