You can play victim all you want, but it was strange to bring up past results when he has finished where he has at the MXDN's he's competed in.

It's like saying Everts was unsuccessful when he had overall wins at the MXDN.
Woohoo

That was due to your wonderful bed bug issue due to hygiene problems. Scottland didn't have that problem... Now get back to your backhand. You seem to be good at it.

I would love for you guys to do so. I hold nothing but praise for his results and any other rider that can win an overall at the MXDN.

I've turned the corner on Barcia. He's matured without losing what makes him great on the track (slight disregard for public safety, and rev limiters...)
I am the same. His attitude off the track seems to have changed and he appears to have stopped riding for show and is try to just ride fast.
Sure all kids grow up, but how much and while they are still in the MX game - another issue. Good on you Justin.

All came down to the final start, the results could have been reversed just with 2 top 10 starts.

I think Barcia rode awesome, that charge through the pack will remain as one of the greatest rides of the season. He left nothing on the table, I think we have rarely seen a 450 being that much on the limits.

As many said, he has matured in term of style since a couple of years ; he focus on the track rather than on his competition, which makes it very exciting to watch.

I tend to think Webb will mature the same way, some rookie or cocky mistakes at the beginning, but once on the 450 he will be a major contender with a strong fan base.

That was a hell of a ride by Barcia, he should be proud. And I agree with what others have said: he seems to have matured a lot, but kept his passion for the sport. I've become a fan this year too and after his MXDN effort even more so. Great job representing the USA!

Technically that was the USA Team placement. Barcia in two of the three MXdN has Class Open: 1st, and now Class MX1: 1st

Hey Essential: How about just shutting the fuck up and not be so goddamn hypersensitive. What he said was relevant. Barcia HAS been on three losing teams and it IS remarkable that he had a decent attitude...hence, his remark.

Steve, I wouldn't sweat essential. He's probably been here under 20 different user names. Guy B., you know what to do.

I see Justin on an upward trajectory from here on out. I see him as a definite threat for the SX title this coming year. Damn did he ever battle today!

I think he's a pretty good dude. His ride was impressive. Actually I was impressed all around. Great racing but them damn starts killed us. Oh and the French were also killing it. Bummed but it was a great race

yeah I've probably been one of his biggest critics but his attitude this year has made me change my mind on him

first time he does something I don't like I'll be off him again though haha

STFU: you're embarrassing our entire country. Come visit NYC and check out the bedbug problem.

It's assholes like you that give us a bad name. We got beat today and we've got nothing to be ashamed of: be gracious in defeat. And may someone pull your account.

"Justin Barcia the MXGP overall winner has left France on occasions with the French fans wanting his blood (Bercy SX) and while he did ride pretty hard against Marvin Musquin in their battle, he walked away from this trip to France with his head high and his eye firmly set on the MXGP series. The American who won rounds of this year’s AMA Nationals is desperate to get to Europe, so much so he begged me to find him a ride in the press conference on Sunday evening. We would love to have him, so any teams out there, sign this guy for 2017. In typical Bam Bam attitude he said he isn’t even looking at the money, but the experience" http://www.mxlarge.com/2015/09/28/mxon-looking-back-4

would love to see it happen, but given the source of the interview I would take the comments with a pinch of salt!

didn't like Barcia at all a couple of years ago, just lately have become a fan. He's matured a lot and impressed me this last season. I was impressed with his commitment at lommel, and this weekend he rode great. AND showed some sportsmanship after getting beat- cant fault that at all
