Say what you will but after last week at Glen Helen and the whole he practices there all the time, I think Webb is doing a great job so far. He is beating most of the GP regulars on a bike that is not his main priority during the year on a track he has never seen. Kids got talent cant deny it. He is a Holeshot and a bad start from beating Febvre the World Champion. Proud of him.

I think Webb still has some left in the tank. He definitely knows when to hang it out and I'm sure Decoster is guiding him in the right direction. Great ride for Webb! That's a confidence booster!

race day could be quite different. crashes, starts etc. Jeremy always seems to step it up the minute you count him out. at this point I think febvre is the only one to shoe in a spot. france is looking solid though

Is there a classification with the combined results for gatepick or how does that work again?

It could also work out of him too. I watched Bubba slow down at Unadilla let Reed by and then pass him back and check out. Mind games can also work for you.

Great pole position for tomorrow. Ideally, we wanted wins, but France is riding great. In all three motos we really weren't that far off the leaders. I'd bet it's going to be much closer racing tomorrow.

More impressed by Cooper as time goes on. Full time 250 rider, second year full time pro, and first MXdN attempt (although none of the euros will point the above out)– already running the pace of the MX1 champ on both sides of the pond. Solid, and only going to get better.

I'm assuming the qualifying highlights will be posted on youtube later as they usually are? (I didn't bother buying it as the races will be shown live here on MotorsTV tomorrow)

And how close was he last year? Really? But the improvement he made this year was legendary...when will you guys realize I'm not putting you down?...but when you use so and so beat so and in one freaking moto so he must be as fast I'm going to call you out...Tonkov isn't even in Dungey's zip code on any day but he did beat him in ONE moto so he must be faster...come on man seriously....

And the AMA vs GP thing continues. I don't know if any of that really means much do you Jamma? I mean Febrve is amazing and Herlings is unbelievable but winning the GP at Glen Helen means what exactly? Cairoli was hurt and had a dnf. No Dungey, Tomac or Roczen showed up and the guy that placed second was 8-9th place guy in the Nationals. Granted Grant loves Glen Helen but I doubt this year he would have had a thing for the top 3 or 4.

Anyways, I don't really have a point with all this but the GP guys are awesome and they deserve respect but so do the National guys IMO.

Reminds me of when Bubba let Reed by... Reed said he if he got a good start he could beat him...

Webb is really fast on that 450 though...

All these guys are fuggin' fast. But some of the MX2 guys - when they're actually fit and healthy - don't get enough credit, that's all.

Barely beat them on home soil, I might add. Full credit to Febvre, though. Glen Helen is not an easy track to win on as a first time visit to the USA.

"Those French don't want none"

I cant help but think that quote has been going around in Febvres mind for a while, certainly since just before Glen Helen last week.
9/26/2015 8:15am
To me, by his very high standards, Romain looked a little bit fingers and thumbs out there, like he was catching the odd rut wrong, standing the bike up here and there etc (once again by his very high standards). It doesn't look like a great track for passing and was especially murder with the lappers. Getting a good start will be even more crucial than normal.

C'mon man , I know those fast MX2 guys are fast as hell , and they get a ton of respect from me. But this is MXoN's weekend , so the banter will fly. Laughing

And on a serious note , I'm bummed for your team. Especially Max! That wreck was terrible looking and I hope the dude will be ok. Fucking dig that kid , and my stomach went up into my throat when I saw it.
