There might be a thread on this already...but can anybody explain this IG post by Josh Hill thanking TWMX, and the comments about a "new chapter"? Is he working for Spy now?

Glad to hear that he was able to land a dope gig.

It takes a lot of the bummer away from the fact that that one flip crushed what looked to be a bright career.

It takes a lot of the bummer away from the fact that that one flip crushed what looked to be a bright career.
Two flips if you count flipping over a rental car drunk with Jason Lawrence at Freestone in 2008, his decline started right there, a few months after he won the only race of his career.

He mounted a great comeback in 2010 as Stewart's teammate, but hit a wall part way through that season that is hard to understand, then made the unfortunate decision to try the backflip game.

Hopefully his Monster gig last a while, like he says in that interview, it's tough to know what to do for an ex-racer after it's over.

Good for him. Better to jump than be pushed out eh!

Was inspiring in someways watching his comeback just for the sheer tenacity and determination, but also painful to watch in other ways too. Esp when you'd see him limping off the bike. Good luck.

What happened to the dirt shark role? Is that what this is in a way still? Sounds like he's more of a brand ambassador/ Monster Rider Support. Either way sounds awesome. I just thought the rumor a week or two ago was Dirt Shark.

I thought I read somewhere that his wife/girlfriend/whatever was the daughter of a hotshot with Monster. Not a crime using influence to get a better situation in life. Best of luck to Josh.

I could be wrong, but I distinctly remember an old video, maybe 07 or 08, where he said he was born in camas, noting it was right on the Washougal river. Maybe he just meant the first house he lived in was in Camas? I could definitely be wrong, that was a while ago.

Yeah im going to have to correct you on that. He wasn't there, it was my car that was rolled. Hasn't this been beat to death already? Feel free to correct me though since you know it all.

He's really good friends with DirtShark, which is the job Josh just took over as DirtShark got promoted.
