"South America"?
Sweeping turn, flat straight and a massive tabletop...repeat with a few roller sections thrown in.
Not a world championship caliber track at all. Oh well, maybe it will make for "good racing" as they say.
Pit Row
"pretty safe roads" wow....
Because it's no fun when you know your going to shit yourself...
"The track in the second moto was how every Grand Prix track should be. There were a lot of lines to pass and I didn't feel stressed."
Is Simpson now a Longo apologist by your standards because we agree on the track? I also share his opinion that tracks need to be changed and not just power reduction/displacement lowering.
BTW calling out Park Boys on his childish "Luongo will bump the GH MXdN to keep the US from winning" post doesn't make me an Luongo apologist just means I call BS when I read something as ludicrous as that comment. You can criticize Luongo, YS, the FIM, the AMA, MXA, me and even my cat etc all you want just please don't make stupid stuff up to do it.
EDIT: Last two races (17 and 18) being in North America as you point out definitely hammers on gate count. Smaller teams don't have much incentive to attend if they don't have a shot in the championship.
Question for you: What did you think of the Assen MXGP attendance and sand course they brought in?
