No questions really Dave. Just wanted to say hello and that it was cool to see you back on the boards. Keep doing a great job for Chad and the rest of the team , and I wish you guys the best of luck next season.

More specifically my former semi driver Shane Westlotorn. He punked me good!
But hey, I'm just showing my passion.
I take personal pride in our set-up.
I bust my rear to make sure we're on point.
The positive that came from that was the Outdoor Promoters having better Security.
hey dave, txs for doing this and hope something comes together for you as you'd be an asset anywhere. how about the rumours of a factory team at Yamaha, you'd fit right in w/keith, slicer and your old boss chad. any more than rumours about this??

I'm always checking the boards.
Never left as 1 earlier thought.
Just really busy...so I scan, read what I want & that's it.
I don't always reply.
TwoTwo is done.
A few remain settling things.
Most are gone, me included.
Chad's plan is to be on another color in '16.

Howdy.
I believe he'll end up Blue.
I believe a few of my crew will be too.
That's just my thinking from what's out there.
Blue has the most people without a current team of their own, so a Mgr. deal I believe will come from in house.
Again, just my honest thinking.
I've been wrong plenty!!

Hi Dave, what did you have to do with Chad's bike back at YoT to get it to his liking? I imagine a fair bit of front end and other chassis tweaking?

I was MX Team Coordinator for Ron Heben.
Later I was hired to run their highly touted Jr. Amateur Program for Kurt Nicoll.

Thanks for coming in and answering all the questions Dave, and thanks to GuyB for setting it up each week.

My question is pretty simple. When you look back on all the years of experience, both good times and bad, what is that one moment that always stands out as the best moment of your moto-related career? The one you always think about when you may question why all the hard work is worth the effort.

First off, sorry about team 22 I wish you luck in your new venture.

Now honestly, how much better was Rickys so called production 82 250 than the junker OW-57 the team had to ride?

What broke on Mike Bells bike at Carslbad in 82? I've heard severaltjings, now I want the truth.

Actually I never question it or anything.
In everything there's up's & downs.
Winning is 1 of the Best feelings in the World. Having a hand in it is equally a Great feeling. I really can't single 1 out.
Currently I'm not pumped on my situation!
What's next is my only concern!

Venture? Thx..
The sports pretty lean these days.
If your talking about RJ's ability to ride that Production YZ250 the way he did, yes that was amazing to see. He loved it & was the only 1 who did.
I wasn't working for Bell in '82, so I really don't recall, really.

MILLION$!!
To be a player you need multi-millions.
Sponsors are key.
A rider or riders alone don't make a Team.
TwoTwo was built around Chad.
But cubic dollars make it go....

Ozzy,
Back in the day, the OW Yamaha's, how cool was it to work on those the very first time after they arrived in the shop?

were you still at YOT when JLaw was there (2008)? any riders in particular that had that raw talent that seemed to not be able to live up to it or harness it?

like others, I was always curious to hear/see what Buell was working on during their period under HD. I know one time I was speaking to someone that did work work with Buell and mentioned Griffin and they about fell out of their chair. lol. I heard about some of the other projects (superchargers/turbos, etc) for the street side but always felt like a good off road bike would be nice. But hard to fathom how someone like Cannondale could fail at it as well. Hard to re-invent the wheel sometimes.

when does your NDA go out the window? ever?? I think that will make one of the more interesting chapters of moto history that no one knows about.. Smile now that they are a few owners in the past, I would have hoped you'd have some ability to articulate some of the plans.

SX & MX isn't Nascar!!
You'd be a happy camper if you had that at your disposal.

Real cool.
But Works bikes were Work.
Not in the modern sense at all.
Bikes now a days are so refined & good it's crazy. Nothing against the modern way, but it was way different in every step of the sport!

well i wqas figurin chad needed at least 5Tongue

but seriously why I've asked............there's been so much speculation about the cost to run a team thought you'd be the best guy ever to give us some true facts

so then maybe 10'ish.............and yes I'm including all the aspects and cost of a true team with staff, equipment, expenses, etc.........

and yeah figures for a contender in Nascar I have heard is in the high 30's............thanks Dave!

Your a passionate hard working guy Ozzy, always fighting for your rider or what you think is right.

Whats the most fired up you ever got? A certain situation where you really had to light a rider/official/etc up and give a good ass chewing?

Its cool if you like to put that kind of stuff behind you and not talk about it.

I put my job on the line, literally hiring JLaw.
It was my neck that made that happen.
I rode the rebuilding process at YOT like a saddle. I put everything into place.
Then, due to politics, I left YOT.
No regrets!! None.
I had a hand in their Championship for sure!
I spoke earlier briefly about Buell.
Someday I'll talk, why not? Haha
But seriously, I'm raw raw USA too, but I don't believe you'll ever see an American MX bike.
The Japaneese & now Austrians leave their egos at the door.
Here that never seems to be the case.
I mean the Cannondale was a lesson only in what not to do.
I used to say that at Buell.
A lot...

There's been those days.
I'm not ashamed at all.
If I'm cold in the back of the bus, I'm asking for heat.
To be a Manager, a Parent, etc., you need to have a pair.
Your crew needs to know you have a pair!
If a chair needs to be thrown, I'll throw it.
Each & every situation requires what it does.
I'm there to WIN!!
I personally wouldn't want it any other way.
I'd want the same.
I wear my team on my sleeve, 100% dedication!!

Never in 1 at the races.
Last time..., I think 10th grade, over a girl.
I lost. He was a football player.
I think fighting was his hobby!!
