If you are talking championship, never since the class went to 250 thumpers. Langston won on the 125 in 2003.
That's what I thought. They're doomed.

Grant Langston 2003 - but that would've been the 125 class back then. Not sure they've ever won the new 250f class.

Exactly what I'm saying. All it takes is one thing to pop loose in the motor and it's all over

Yamaha 1-2-3 right on. Plessinger has been really stepping up the last half of the season.

Nice to see Biscelgia come on at the end of the year but I think he needs to up his physical fitness.

Kind of stupid comment I would expect in here. Guy has been dealing with injuries the past few years and wanted to be champ before he moved up, he has every right to be in the class.

It's a sad day for American motocross when titles are now being decided by which 4turd DNF's the least amount of motos.

Pathetic capitalism at it's finest. Bring back the two strokes while we still have a sport to bring them back to.

I know it would never happen because he's got to make his sponsors happy, but it would have been awesome if Martin would have pulled off and said he wanted to race for the title in moto 2. Would have made a lifelong fan out of me. This is just so damn anticlimactic... we need some kind of DNF rule where you get one freebie per season or something, I don't know. There's got to be a better way than this.

Maybe but it is the reality. It is life. So far Musquin was gaining 2 points which, if that was staying like that (and it would not have stayed like that of course as I think they were at least going for the 2nd and 3rd spots), then it would have made the final race to settle this title. It is even worse than CP in 2009, as much as CP in 2010 (injury) and like Langston in 01 indeed. We will never know. You can say all you want that Martin is faster, I am sorry but in this 23rd moto they were tie. The title is deserved because he rode awesome like Musquin this summer but in the end we will never know because of this DNF... That sucks.

Last but not least, Musquin will never be able to make a holeshot in moto 2 with the gate pick he will have after this DNF. What I am sure then is a lot of people will say Martin finished better in moto 2, well, that is comparing apple to orange. Same if Martin finishes behind, everybody will say he was just cruising. Again that sucks. It is racing, everything could be much worse but after this so anticipating final I am quite disappointed to see a no show... I wanted them all out and based on the save of Musquin a couple minutes before it was looking like it would be the battle of year.

Newsflash: Anyone that wants to go out and buy a brand new two stroke can do so.

So no need to worry if the broadcast will work for international viewers then.

For the most part it is younger guys. That's how it works. These comments have been made about many other older guys that have stepped down or not moved up. Nothing new here.

Weigandt try to be sympathetic to the situation and stop your nervous giggling. It's annoying AF
